[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new washer and dryer quickly after a power surge destroyed ours. They are a big step up technologically and we're still learning how to use them. They were the top rated ones we considered, and we felt lucky to find them considering the supply chain backup. I might end up with a 5 star rating, but need to spend an hour with the manual.

We only dry clothes, bedding and towels in our dryer. Nothing hard or bulky like shoes, etc. During a normal dry cycle with medium load, the inner wall of the "real tempered glass" door broke off and mixed a bunch of tiny jagged sharp shards into our clothes. I stack my dryer on top of the washer with the LG stacking kit, and if I wasn't paying attention, I could have opened the door and dropped a heavy 14" diameter disc of razor sharp glass 4 ft right on top of my feet and shattered all over my home floor. It'd been 2 years since we purchased and LG originally said it's out of warranty, but this is not an acceptable level of safety to have for a product well within its expected operating lifespan. Searching online, there are many other reports of this happening

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We most often choose the normal setting. It seems like the clothes are dry in nothing flat. I appreciate that this dryer doesn't seem to radiate a lot of heat so the laundry room stays cool. I will use this dryer in summer whereas previously I used an outdoor drying rack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned our LG washer and dryer for about a month and a half, and so far we really enjoy the washing machine. It gets clothes clean, it’s fast, and the notifications when a cycle ends via the LG app are great! The dryer has been a mixed bag. In actuality, I’m pretty disappointed that we had to have it serviced already by an appliance technician who replaced the main board and heating element because the dryer wasn’t producing hot air and was giving an error code indicating poor airflow even when the vent was completely disconnected and wide open. I’m hopeful that this was a one-off problem with the dryer, and that the favorable reviews provided by the likes of Consumer Reports actually portray the reliability of this machine from here on. I can’t say I would recommend from personal experience for others to buy this machine, though.

My only complaints are: (1) the very first normal cycle I ran left the clothes slightly damp, and (2) I did some bed sheets on the bedding setting and they were well done with about 20 minutes left on the cycle. I thought it would have sensed they were dry and cut the cycle shorter. Overall like the features. Would be nice if the machine did a push notification via app that the cycle was complete.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dryer about 1.5 months ago...it took 3 weeks to be delivered. Downloading programs is easy, once you figure it out. Love the built- in technology. Haven't used all of it yet, but looking forward to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dryer. Moved into a new home and got a new washer and dryer. They have both worked well. We have t gotten around to learning all of the features, but we love what it does. Senses the size of the load and drys well. Very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG Washer and Dryer about 6 weeks ago to replace a very old and worn out LG Washer & Dryer. I chose LG again because of the years my last set has served myself and my family. I was floored by the technical aspect. I have my watch and/or my phone tell me the status of my laundry. I absolutely love the way it cleans and drys with sensor cleaning / drying and if I leave the clothes in the dryer way to long because I am busy... steam fresh in the dryer to make it all good and fresh again. Saves on time and electricity. The control panels on each... bright, clear, and very easy to read. Yes, one of the best moves I have made for my laundry room. Oh.... did I tell you how gorgeous it looks? It does!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second LG Washer! We inherited one that was about 7+ years old when we got it. So it had to have lasted at min 15 Years which is awesome. This NEW ONE IS PHEMONOMAL. I'm so happy we were able to get another LG. We picked up the matching Dryer too (Although our older LG Dryer was working fine however we had to make them Match...LOL)

There is a lot of pre-set settings, but we often just make our own settings. It's quiet, no vibration noise, load capacity very well suited for our family of three. There's many features we have yet to try (bells and whistles) like the Wi-Fi connection and steam setting. Definitely recommend.
