[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has been a good dryer for us. Handles a lot, things dry consistently with all the settings allowed. Quiet too. Only issue was the door is misaligned and latch hits hard - vendor where purchased is replacing the hinge under warranty.

We have not started using the wifi yet, but hope to use it soon. Given everything we have done, I will rate the appliances #4, with #5 to be considered in the not to distance future.

I love the simplicity of operation, quiet running cycles and look of the appliances. Did a lot of research before we bought the LG brand and I can say it was well worth it.

I bought the washer and matching dryer about a year ago, and I love them both. The problem is that one of them is destroying my towels, but I don't know witch. See attached photos. This occurs on both high quality and low quality towels. I have resorted to putting my towels in mesh bags before washing and drying, which seems to solve the problem. I could do some experimentation to determine which machine is the culprit, but I don't want to destroy more towels in the process.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in Nov but took about 6 weeks to get. We wanted black to match our other appliances but LG or anyone else no longer offers that color. We got black steel which is dark gray. The glass door helps blend in and really makes for a quality dryer, Dries Clothes Fast. The clothes are very hot, and I do remove them before the cycle ends so the sensors are a bit off. The cord hookup is very easy thanks to someone thinking ahead - even has a built in "bowl" to catch any dropped nuts or screws. Is wifi enabled but you can not access online features or sync with washer without having a smartphone and downloading crap on it. There is a large gap between the wall and top, so things fall behind this easily. We finally stuffed a towel between the dryer and wall to prevent this from happening. Some really good and neat features but some stupid design errors sums LG up.

I am impressed with my new LG washer. It operates quietly, which is a significant plus, especially in an open-plan living space. The performance is excellent. It consistently washes clothes thoroughly and removes stains much better than the temporary upright model we were using. One of the standout features for us is the accompanying app which offers a range of functionalities. The alert feature is particularly useful, notifying us when a cycle is complete. Additionally, the customizable wash settings are fantastic, allowing us to tailor each wash to the specific needs of the load. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new washer.

To have so many options built in on both is a blessing. You don't have to guess how to wash or dry anything that fits those. Really is one of the best things we have purchased recently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't get any of my loads to dry well. It takes multiple dries to dry clothes and still some are dry and some damp still. Sheets as well as towels loads all tangle in each other, making it very hard to separate, very wrinkled, and not well dried. I have not been impressed with this dryer and regret my purchase decision. Steam settings leave my clothes very wet after the drying cycle is "done." It does have a lot of cool potential features if it were to work properly.

We have had nothing but issues with our delivery since day one, and it has now been about two months with no support resolution in sight. The first washer that we were delivered had large scratches on it that they tried to cover with black marker. We requested a replacement and it took a couple weeks to receive the replacement. Well, the replacement never worked from the beginning - we believe they provided us with a refurbished unit. It would only steam our clothes on a very hot temperature and it would not do anything else. We have had the new washer for about three weeks now and it has been a painful process getting a new one - Sam's has not been helpful and they keep telling us they have no control over the replacement time. And now today the washer doesn't even function at all. The carrier keeps calling us to schedule a delivery and so we try to make sure we are home and then they cancel. We work and are not able to take an unlimited amount of time off. I would avoid buying appliances from Sam's at all costs.
