As per laundering directions on most clothes I have mostly used the low heat setting, which takes longer, but clothes last longer and shrink less. Larger capacity than my last dryer, so can handle a lot more laundry, but that also means those larger loads take longer to dry. Bottom line though is this dryer gets the job done and has lots of options for whatever your needs.

We are pleased with the drying performance, things are pretty much dry at the end of the selected auto cycle. We are still getting used to controls and adjustments to time. Only two complaints: No light in the drum & end of cycle buzzer should be louder/adjustable

Cons: This dryer and the matching washer are advertised as compact models that are able to fit in smaller spaces (e.g., 2nd floor closet). My husband and I reviewed spec measurements before purchasing these for our laundry closet. (Our home does not have a laundry room or other room with laundry hook-ups. We literally have a closet with bi-fold doors.) The spec measurements made it seem that they would fit, but when they were installed, they were too deep with all the hoses hooked up that the doors wouldn't close. It's unfortunate that these are the smallest stackable washer and dryer we could find, and they still don't fit. I'm guessing there are other people with a similar issue, so it would be nice if LG would design truly compact models. I would recommend to a friend as long as they don't have to fit these in a small space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer does a great job even when drying large load. I really like the speed dry setting when I'm on a hurry and forget to throw the clothes in the dryer. This machine does a great job of getting my clothes dry.

I'm very unhappy. In fact, I'm going to call Discover tomorrow and see if I can get this machine taken out of my house. I have to run the dryer through 2 cycles to get my clothes dry and then sometimes they are still damp. The company I purchased it at has been here 4 times. I'm done!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with this washing machine. We never owned an LG product. The washing machine is almost silent and the spin cycle is amazing ! Everything come out barely wet. Using less time to dry in my new LG Dryer !

I bought the dryer with the matching washer as a set with pedestals. The dryer is straight forward and easy to use. The height is good - everything at eye level. Together with the washer in my laundry room - the set looks commercial which I was surprised and really like!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect results after two months of regular use, in tandem with the matching washer we've had in operation for about a year. Clothes, inexplicably, just come out of the machine in a softer, fluffier texture - no fabric softener involved. I wish pre-sets could be tweaked more flexibly, but the "Manual" setting let's you do anything you wish. Excellent bonus features like three hours of anti-wrinkle after drying (a tumble or two per minute or so), and a sensor that reports clogs of lint in the exhaust line.
