[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were long overdue for an upgrade and my husband did a lot of research to identify an affordable, energy & water efficient washer and dryer set. This dryer was part of that research and it has been up to the task. There is no comparing it to our old one which was probably 20 to 30 years old, but as far as a new set goes this is a great value and gets the job done well! Now we are looking to remodel the laundry room because these beauties need a nice place to work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago and it changed my life. This is my favorite appliance in my house and it is perfect after months of searching. It has many settings that are easy and convenient to use and. It looks sleek and don’t not make a very loud noise which I love. It dries my clothes completely and does not ruin anything or leave anything damp.

After a particularly bad experience with a gas dryer from a domestic (U.S.) manufacturer who claimed its product was, "dependable from day one," my new replacement gas dryer was a pleasant surprise. My previous dryer would not ignite, and after visits from five individual service technicians (none of whom were able to correct the issue), I finally gave up and purchased a new LG gas dryer. My initial impression is that it successfully ignites when heat is called for, it is quiet, and efficient. The controls are easy to understand and closely match those of my matching new LG front loading washer. It begins and ends its cycles with a cheery little tune that brings a smile to my face every time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with my new LG dryer. I'm amazed at the large capacity that fits in my narrow utility room. It replaced a dryer with the same footprint, but is taller and has a much larger capacity than my old one. I've used it for about 3 weeks now, and I'm very satisfied with the drying of towels, bedding, and regular wash items. The extra height isn't a problem as I keep a step stool in the utility room to reach the box of dryer sheets I keep on top. It's really great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dryer!! I have had it a few weeks and love it so far. It thoroughly dries and the permanent press cycle is great. One minor thing to get used to is that it doesn’t have a light in the drum. Not a big deal. I have had the most luck with LG appliances. They seem to out last others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought both the washer and companion dryer when my old washer died. Was highly recommended by the store and friends. Love them both. Big enough to do basically a white load and dark weekly. Good price.

Capacity is my favorite feature. Paired with the highly efficient spin cycle on the “paired” washer I find drying time is greatly reduced from my prior dryer. I wish this dryer had a “touch up” cycle for ease but can live without it. Overall, have yet to realize professed cost savings (only had for 2 weeks) but expect this dryer will live up to professed savings.

We were excited to replace our 20 year old dryer with this highly rated one. We have been less than thrilled with the amount of plastic components and parts, including the lint filter. We feel like it could fall apart just by opening and closing the door. I don't believe we will get 20 years out of this unit!
