New Generator

Received this a few weeks ago, I haven't used it yet since there was a lot of new electrical work that was needed before I could test this out. It looks sturdy and I like the fact there is multiple options for fuel. Will leave an updated review when I put this to use, hoping not too soon since I prefer not to be in a power outage.

Now I feel confident in Bad weather-9500 Tri-fuel

After Hurricane Beryl 2024 hit us, I knew I wouldn't go without power again; I ordered this generator the day after. We haven't needed to use it yet, and frankly I hope we never have to - that 's the only reason of 4 stars vs. 5 since we haven't started it. But now I feel confident having this generator within reach if needed. Assembly was relatively easy considering the size/weight of this model. If you have a socket set, assembly is even quicker than using the included tools, yet I was glad to see the tools were provided. Was easy to assemble, the challenge was finding an item to lift up the back end when installing the wheels (we used a stack of small barbell free weights). Clear instructions made assembly easy enough for two; I assume it would also be easy for one with some muscle. The unit looks sturdy and well-designed; the panel looks very easy to understand and operate. I was really only interested in a tri-fuel model being that after a storm, you never know what type of fuel you'll have access to. I'm excited to have this new Westinghouse Generator!

Nice Generator

I bought this tri fuel generator a couple of weeks ago and the generator has been very simple to assemble. It is nicely built and well put together. I would recommend this generator for someone who does not want to spend an extra extraordinary amount of money for small power outages.

Great Value

I bought this a couple of weeks ago are the recommendation of my electrician. It is a great value. I have natural gas at my house so I won't have to deal with gasoline, gasoline filter, and other refueling issues such as power out at local gas stations. I've lived in Dallas 30 years and never had a Natural Gas issue

Great Generator

Very pleased so far. Assembly was straight forward and very doable with such a heavy piece of equipment (approximately 200 pounds). Simply take your time -- we used the pallet it came with by sliding the generator forward enough to install the wheels, then rolled it off the pallet with the handle and set the cross brace on a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 board (a couple of short 2x's will do) to install the feet. All else was very easy -- filling oil, connecting the battery, setting the remote, and getting familiar with the generator. It crank right up and ran on LP gas with no issues with the remote. Excellent buy!

Power the whole house

Bought it as portable whole house backup power generator. So far, only tested it for 4 hours. No issue to power everything (I avoided running multiple large appliances at the same time). Heavy. Loud. I'm confident it will do the job if we get hit again by a hurricane.

Nice Tri-Fuel

There aren't a lot of portable generators that accept natural gas but this is one and it is one of the most economical Tri-Fuel generators available. I use this with natural gas as a backup generator for the house. With natural gas it will run indefinitely, and I don't have to worry with the potentially dangerous necessity of refilling a potentially hot generator with gasoline. I also appreciate that this has a trickle charger built in for the starting battery (a known problem for some of the Generac generators).

Awesome Product!

Super excited about this generator. Bought after hurricane Helene and vowed we would not be without power again. My wife has medication that requires refrigeration and without power we had to search for ice. Luckily we found it. This generator will allow us to basically power the whole house.

Great Price!

I bought this because of recommendation from an electrician in my neighborhood. It is a very affordable option opposed to the permanently installed whole home generators. I haven’t had to run it yet but I’m sure I’ll get the chance next hurricane season.
