This generator is the best one I’ve owned. It is powerfull and very well constructed. The quality is second to none. For a unit this size it is quiet and easy to operate. I live in south Louisiana so I have been using generators all of my adult life. Haven’t had to use this one in a storm yet and hope I never do but I know it will handle the job

After experiencing a power outage due to the recent Hurricane, I'm confident that this item will keep my freezer and refrigerator running to keep from disposing of lots of food. It also has enough power to allow my central gas heating blower to keep us warn in winter months if we experience another power outage.

Overall excellent product. Well-built and very good engine. I use it for hole home backup power due to hurricane storms in Florida the fact that it provides 11500 running watts, and the Total Harmonic distortion is 5% and under protecting sensitive equipment. Love the product.

550cc engine protected by enclosed frame allows us to run all major appliances and gives us the option to use gas, propane, and our natural gas. Does what it needs to do and although I have the tools needed, Westinghouse provides what you need to get up and running.

After being without power for 60 hours, I purchased this generator online. About an hour later the power came back on. I had it in the garage for less than 2 months when Hurricane Beryl devastated our area. My partner had previously installed a plug that would allow this machine to run my entire house and once the power was out, he plumbed my natural gas line to the machine so that I didn’t have to spend hours searching for and waiting for gasoline or propane. Other than how VERY LOUD it is, it has been a complete life saver as we enter our 75th hour with no power to over 2 million people, and up to 4 more days without, I haven’t skipped a beat. I can run everything including my HVAC and still do a load of laundry or cook dinner. I can’t say enough about this product.

I purchased the WGen11500TFc after doing a lot of research on generators. I wanted a trifuel generator so I could run natural gas. That way I do not have store or try to find gas or propane during an outage. This generator also produces clean power with a THD rating of <5%. Which is very important for sensitive electronics, medical equipment and or to prevent lights flickering in the house when using the generator. The attached handle makes this generator very easy to move. Even with being over 200lbs, there is no issue moving around as needed. I also like that this generator is ready for a 50amp inlet. I had an electrician install a 50amp inlet wired directly to my panel with an interlock switch. Allowing for full access of the panel and being able to select which breakers I want to run. I also had a plumber run a gas line with shut off valves to hook it up to natural gas. Connect the entire system with quick connects, making it very easy and fast to be up and running. This generator also comes with remote start and a trickle charger for the battery. It is also ready for an automatic transfer switch, if you want to set up a permanent location and always connected system. For an open frame generator that produces this much power, the noise level is acceptable. It is not as quiet as an inverter generator, but that is to be expected. Noise level is very reasonable for a generator of this size and output. This generator was exactly what I was looking for. Technology on portable generators has come a long way, and there is really no need to purchase a whole house system anymore. Going this route saved me a lot of money. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. I would recommend this generator and now have peace of mind that I am always ready for the next storm.

Just bought a few days ago and looks like a really nice machine. Put oil and gas in and it started right up. Haven't used it to power anything yet but I am sure when I do it will be fine. Really happy I bought this brand compared to some other ones.

out-of-the-box assembly very easy; started up perfect and battery was fully charged as advertised. Good features including the low TDH OF <5% which was important. Also important was the recoil feature which is a must. Several generators have many good features including KW output, remote start and possibly low TDH but need to read the details as some (including Westinghouse) may not have the manual recoil . I was going to select the model up from the WGen1100Tfc but it did not have the recoil. Seems to be a good value at this time. Have not yet used in actual outage but looks good so far.

It was out of stock for a bit but I’m glad I was able to get one when I did. We couldn’t justify spending the money on a whole home standby generator but this one was priced just right for us and our needs allowing us to run our AC, fridges and many devices we typically use. Love that it’s tri-fuel so we can use natural gas and not worry about trying to get gas or propane during a storm. Thank god for the wheels because this thing is heavy. Be careful trying to lift out of the box. It’s a great buy for something I hope we rarely have to use!

I Bought due to the fact I live in Florida and just moved into a new construction home for the two to three hurricanes we get per year. Very impressed with the Generator as well as all the accessories you get with it when you purchase it. Definitely top quality. I would recommend to anyone in need of a Generator
