I purchased this generator a week ago and tested it to make sure it would meet my needs. Powered down house completely, started generator and let it run about 15 minutes. Hooked up the power cord to the generator and my 50amp outlet. Turned on my AC with no issues, turned on refrigerator and then freezer again with no issues. Turned on several other 20 amp breakers for lighting etc with no issues. Let them run for about an hour and all seem to work fine. I operated on natural gas.

Growing up in India it was commonplace for families to have generators to power their homes when needed. My family had an old Westinghouse and when it came time for me to search the market I knew exactly where to go! Weather and grid insecurities in Houston left me worried for the safety and security during times without power. This unit fired up immediately and is powering my house after Beryl reared its ugly head earlier this morning. Thank you, Westinghouse!

Just got this so all I can comment on is the delivery and packaging. Both were great. The driver was courteous and brought it up my driveway and helped me get it on my appliance dolly. The packaging was in good shape as well. I will update if this site will let me.

I previously had a gas generator and couldn't get it to come on because I forgot to remove the gas the last time I used it. I purchased the tri-fuel generator because I don't want that to happen again. I will be using it with natural gas and shouldn't be having this problem anymore.

The Wgen10500TFc is an outstanding generator for the money I paid for it... I put the provided oil in it and I put 3 gallons of ethanol free gas... the generator started on the first trial and ran very stable after that ... I contracted an Electrician and he installed a transfer switch/interlock using the 50Amps conection into the main electrical pannel ... this generator power everything in my home including the central AC unit. The accesories provided with the unit and the documentation is A+ ... I'm so glad I decided on this Westinghouse Generator instead of the DuroMax one.

After our power went out one too many times, for too long.....we purchased this Westinghouse generator. The instructions were easy to follow. We are very pleased with the generator after the initial set up and letting the generator run for a bit. Just knowing this generator is ready for our use, is a big "mental" relief. The actual generator is very sturdy.

I got The Westinghouse WGen10500TFc as a gift for father's day. Having small engine experience, I found anyone could set-up and run this generator. I had professional help installing the transfer switch for my home, which frequently looses power. The generator powered 3/4 of my home (as set up by the transfer switch) and handled the load, including air-conditioning and a water heater without any problem. I recommend this generator for ease of use and excellent directions in the manual!

This is my second Westinghouse generator. I chose one model up from the one I had before . My first one powered my house through two hurricanes., it was then damaged by flood water and I would purchase no other one to replace that one but a Westinghouse.

When I bought this product I was so excited once received. There’s so many different options to choose from depending on the situation you’re in. Also, in regards to: Locating gas, or finding a store open to get propane tanks or purchasing one or hooking it up to your own gas line (of course by a professional). Being a female, I find it very helpful and convenient having a remote starter also.

Recent purchase and so far so good. It seems to be well built and easy to assemble. Followed setup instructions and it started up and ran on first attempt. Noise level is typical for generator of this type. Has lots of great features including push and remote start, large fuel capacity and the mulit-fuel option is an excellent feature.
