Bought this as a replacement for my old generator. Lots of nice features that had me select this one. Sounds silly for most folks but the simple rubber covers over the outlets, including a battery charger and a port to plug it into to keep the battery topped of is a nice touch. Including the oil needed for the generator is always a plus unlike some of the competition that cheap's out and has us buy it.

We were looking for an electric start generator after having a pull start generator for years. We love the ease of operation, all at the push of a button! We don't want to lose power, but if we do, we are READY! Big easy to use handle and ample size wheels to move this around easily.

This was the easiest portable generator I have ever had to assemble and start. The do-it-yourself design and simplicity of any maintenance require made this purchase a no brainer to me. This unit fulfills all of my emergency power needs and ten some.

We bought this a few months ago in preparation for possible outages within the next few months. We haven't turned it on just yet but setting up the feet and wheels and adding the oil was simple and to the point using the supplied instructions. We are ready for the upcoming storm and have peace of mind that we will not need to go without power. I will come back and update my review after the first time using

We recently had a 30-hour blackout and our 5750W 13-year-old Generator struggled to keep up particularly when our well pump kicked in. Plus the wife could not start the old unit (pull cord only). It was time for a major upgrade as we are both 75+ years old. The Westinghouse has electric start and can easliy be rolled outside. The whole house can now be powered and the new generator doesn't doesn't blink when high power appliances come online. Thanks, Westinghouse.

I bought this generator shorty after things settled down after Hurricane Beryl and while I haven't had to use it yet I did just unbox and assemble it in preparation for the winter storm moving across the US in early 2026. After everything I've read and watched online I have high expectations for the WGEN10500TFC.

I just purchased my Westinghouse 13500 tri fuel generator put the wheels on it and the rubber feet, put the gas in it, put oil in it, and charged the battery. it cranked very first time. Runs like a champ, now I'm very confident when the power goes out.

We just bought and had an electrician set up a switch for us. Since we have a gas line in our backyard, the TriFuel model was recommended. We live in a 1,500 SF home and - when tested on that gas - the generator seemed stout enough to run our entire home. Full disclosure: we have not had to use it to the fullest extent (for more than the time to test) as we haven’t encountered a power outage yet. The true test will come when a storm leaves us without for a day or two. The reason for the 4 star vs the 5 star is because as strong and might as this machine seems, I do wish there was a way to muffle the sound a bit. We have neighbors that may care how audible it is - hopefully we can pacify any disturbance they have with the offer of coming over and “riding out the storm” with us.

I bought the generator November 2025, worked for 10 minutes when first installed. Tried to exercise January 2025 and would not start with either natural gas or propane. Called Westinghouse for assistance and was told it was probably the regulator and would send me a replacement, albeit I would have to install it. Asked for instructions but never received a readable copy. Very disappointed that I bought a "lemon" and Westinghouse would not make it right. They offered to make the repair but I would have to take the unit to a repair shop 40 miles from me. I have no way to transport the unit. I would have to pay for a service call even though materials and labor is covered under the one year warranty. I asked that the unit be replaced and was refused.

I had to replace my old gasoline-only generator and i wanted to get one that runs on propane as well as gasoline. I ended up buying the tri-fuel and i'm so glad i did! I've now run a dedicated natural gas line for the generator. We have problems with power outages and it's such a pleasure to be able to continue to have electricity during such events. It has plenty of power to run everything in my house. I purchased an electrical box and power cord from another source so that i can run my entire house. I've only run it on propane and natural gas. It's starts easily and runs very cleanly. I love the information center. This is a very 'mature' product. By that i mean that it has everything you could possibly need on board. I recommend this product!
