I do not think that the Sam's Club/Serta representatives gave me accurate information. The representative told me that even though the description of the item says “firm”, the fact that it's 13 1/4 inches tall will make it softer than another mattress which was described as “plush”. The truth is that this mattress was very firm.

I thought I was buying a firm mattress only to find it was no different then the one i had for the last 5 years. They need to change the mattress to soft. There is lots of stitching on the mattress that was pulling out all over the top. We are looking for a new mattress right now. We would not recommend buying this one if your looking for a firm mattress.

We love this mattress. It's firmer than we usually get but very comfortable and we expect it will last a long time. A word to the wise, this mattress is taller than we're used to. Wish we had gotten the lower profile foundation to make up for it. If you're average height it should be fine for you but I'm kinda short...5'2 and it's a little challenging to climb in and hop down from. Not too bad though. Delivery was a bit difficult and required many phone calls and a little aggravation.

It took about 3 weeks for the mattress to be delivered. It looks nice & well made but is much too hard for me. I'm a side sleeper & wake up each morning with aches & stiffness. I thought since it is a pillow top, it would be more comfortable. I'm hoping I will be allowed to exchange it for one that's more suitable for a side sleeper. Good sleep is too important to compromise.

This mattress has a indent when I lay on it with no p.t.cushioning, just hard surface. I always buy at Sams and have never been disappointed in their mattresses before. In order to be able to sleep on this mattress I will have to buy a mattress topper and hope that will help.

For the price this is a great value($425 delivered w/removal of old bedding)!! There were a few minor stitching flaws in the surface tufts but do not affect the mattress at all! This replaced a 10+ year old memory foam mattress and it is much more comfortable. I especially like that the edge support is far superior than the old. For the budget minded(speaking!) this is a great value!!

Big Bang for the buck! Great delivery and setup! Perfect communication on delivery and setup and the guys were super professional and friendly. Haven't slept on the mattress because it's in my spare room but I will. Seemed comfy when I laid on it. Would buy again in a heart beat.

We have slept on our new mattress 2 nights now. Best sleep at home in years. We've had a sleep number bed for at least 10 years. We needed a new mattress, but didn't want to pay the high price for another sleep number. I have problems staying overnight away from home because of other's mattresses. This mattress is a perfect fit for my finicky back. I love it!

Beautiful Baymist mattress, firm, mattress is high with 9" box spring. Very difficult to place a mattress cover and sheet over. Comfortable, difficult to remove yourself from the bed in the morning. 10 year warranty. Excellent price from Sam's Club. Guaranteed warranty for defects. Please register your mattress. I have purchased mattresses from Sam's Club and have never had an issues. I highly recommend. Price point Excellent other merchants are selling for 1,200.00 and up.

Had issues for years sleeping thru the night. Thought it was me. Stayed at a marriott hotel and they had a really nice firm serta mattress, I slept through the night. Came home and before I left ordered this one. It's like magic, now I am sleeping 6 to 7 hours straight. Had no idea what a good mattress could do versa a not so good mattress. I guess you get what you pay for.
