[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our LG dryer a month ago and are so happy with it. It drys close quickly, runs quietly and I love all the features it has, including the ability to steam clothes. It also has an app that tells me when the drying cycle is done.

It was time to update my LG washer and dryer after over 15 years of faithful service. They both worked fine but I was anxious to replace them before I had a problem. With regard to the model DLGX4001B dryer, it’s amazing what technology advances have taken place in 15 years! The washer/dryer is WiFi enabled so that I can check the cycle progress on my phone and receive Alexa alerts once the cycle is finished. The dryer is paired to the washer so for example when the wash cycle for Towels is complete, the dryer automatically pre-selects the dry cycle for Towels. There are more cycles and each is much more unique with this model compared to my 15 year old machine. This model also features steam functions. It runs whisper quiet, smooth, and is solid as a rock. The unit looks great in black steel but a minor complaint is that the LED panel is a bit hard to see so I need reading glasses and a flashlight if I want to choose any of the many available dry options.

The old dryer was the same brand and lasted a long time without any issues but I had my laundry room remodeled and I decided to replace the appliances. Small issue with the installation that created problems with drying process but once it was corrected, the dryer worked perfectly.

Still new to us but we use it almost daily. As I wrote before, the Wi-Fi feature seems more gimmicky than practical. I am also finding it difficult to input changes that I want. Have to go back and study the manual. Not finding it terribly user friendly so far but that may be just me.

The fact that my original ones lasted that long and never broke down in 16 years made me buy another LG set. After 2 weeks with the new set I am very happy with my purchase. I think they perform even better than my original ones since technology has improved a lot in 16 years. They are quite, as the quick cycle is super fast. They fit large loads. They have more wash cycles than my original ones. And the price was very reasonable. I’m very Satisfied.

They are a big step up technologically and we're still learning how to use them. They were the top rated ones we considered, and we felt lucky to find them considering the supply chain backup. I might end up with a 5 star rating, but need to spend an hour with the manual.

So far the dryer is great. Quiet and efficient. The humidity sensor on delicate leaves the clothes damp sometimes but it’s a fast cycle. Only other complaint is the power cable was too short when stacked and pulled out of our closet to install without an extension cord.

Have only had the dryer hooked up for one day and a couple of loads but the link with the Thinq app is great. I knew the dryer was venting as I tedted it before I hooked it to the ductwork. After hooking it up there was no exhaust at the outdoor grate - lint dam! I was able to use the remote start feature on yhe phone app to go in the crawl space and disassemble the ductwork while starting and stopping the dryer to locate the blockage. We also purchased the matching washer that links with the dryer. and the washer tells the fryer what setting to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been a couple months since our purchase and have no complaints. Upgrading to a gas dryer seems to have proven to be more economical. Love the new features but still learning to use them. WiFi connectivity has been a bonus feature that brings peace of mind and also great reminders for tracking use and any maintenance needed. Love and hope to have this dryer for many years

Our old matching LG dryer still worked fine, but we wanted to have a matching washer dryer set, so based on our prior excellent experience with our old LG products, which was updated by research on new laundry equipment, we decided to get the matching LG dryer. After several weeks of use, we are quite pleased with the features and performance of our dryer. We are still tinkering with several of the new features and settings, but overall we feel that our purchase was money well spent.
