They lasted pretty long and had no major issues until recently, especially with the washing machine. I find LG brands to be very reliable. That's why I bought a brand new set. The dryer is awesome as you can use your phone to see in real time action. It has a cool music at the end of the drying task. The buttons are easy to understand as well.

Our old washer 'gave it up' and after some research we found this LG to be the brand we wanted to replace our old W/D with. Although the dryer was still functioning, it didn't make any sense to not replace it since they were both over 13 years old. Got both units and they do a great job. Very happy with LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dryer for about a month and I am very impressed with it so far. The sensor dry works great and does not over dry my clothes. The thing I like the best is the alert feature which sends alerts to my cell phone when a cycle finishes. I can also check on my phone to see how much longer until the cycle is done.

I no longer have to keep going down to the basement to check on my clothes because the app let's me know when it has ended and the dryer automatically knows what settings I need too. All that technology and it's energy efficient too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First front loader I’ve had at home has larger capacity and gets clothes much cleaner than the agitator I had. Great investment ..wiping the gasket to ensure its dry is small price to pay for a superior wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a little over a month ago and it works great. Dries really well and actually faster than my old drier. It is very quite. The lint filter is a little different than my last one and it works better and traps the lint on the filter and less gets stuck in the lint "gap." Definitely would buy again.

I’m not sure what more you can ask for from a dryer, it’s quick, efficient and the app notifies you when the dry cycle is done. The fact that I can stack it on my washer and it looks sleek are a bonus. The only downside is the fresh looks will make me want to update the laundry room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: This is a very quiet front load dryer with many excellent features. It has a good load capacity, and is gentle on the clothes. The ability to download a custom drying cycle is a nice benefit, and we’ve used the “small load” cycle several times. Cons: The control panel on the upper right is not backlit, and the print is not very prominent, so the lettering is difficult to see for those that have some vision impairment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer was installed two weeks ago. Installation was straightforward. So far, I’ve only done two loads and everything worked as expected. I found the manual often difficult to interpret, and especially so for setting up the ThinQ wifi. For example, it if not clear whether the word device is referring to the dryer or the smartphone. Also, a lot of trial and error is involved in learning to use the controls. I hope this will improve over time. Note. I am a native english speaker with a PhD in physics. So far, I don’t have enough experience wit this machine to recommend it to someone else. Ask me again after six months or a year.
