[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a lemon, or a piece of junk. This dryer has been nothing but a source of aggravation ever since I purchased it. We keep on getting this flashing “gas” error. The dryer stops 25 to 30 minutes into its cycle with gas error flashing. It does not generate any heat, everything is still wet. We had a plumber check the gas line, everything is fine—our gas stove and gas water heater have no issues. An LG tech replaced the dryer’s gas valve—same issue. My mom suffers from dementia, laundry is a necessity in our house. To get this repaired, I have to pay a plumber to disconnect the gas line from the dryer, pay someone to bring it down from its platform, once the maintenance is done, pay for the reverse process. At this point, as soon as I have the money, I’ll get a new dryer , and hope to have better luck. My last dryer lasted over 15 years before the motor gave out. Buyer beware!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had last LG dryer 16years and still have it as a backup in garage. New unit is as nice as old model with modern day features and styling. Runs quietly and drys clothes fast with very little wrinkling. Steam feature is fantastic for removing closet wrinkles and freshening up clothes. Expect years of great service from this machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Own this for a month now and ran 5 consecutive loads back to back and it cleaned everything easily even on cold wash. Haven't tried the steam or sanitize features yet. Everything is really easy to use and setup was a breeze. It takes the guess work out of laundry with these preset. The manual controls makes sense and the wifi feature is a bonus. Not really a selling point. The capacity is great too and can handle approximately one king size comforter/blanket and some smaller bedding but nothing more. I will say that it needs the pedestal or be placed on something though because it is not a very good height for taller or average height people. Having it on a pedestal makes it that much nicer but the additional cost is a bummer. Also making the black cost more than the white seems like a greedy move.

Very easy to use but the thing I like the most is how quite these are you can not hear them running at all.It does dry hotter on low than the old dryer. I do like the WiFi and LG app which sends a notification to my Phone when the cycles complete. Really love the functionality especially if I get busy in other room of the house. The controls can be greatly simplified! If you need to freshen up a piece of clothing just use the steam function. I’m so happy with my new dryer paired with the washer that is amazing too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like thar the dryer can sense when clothes are dry and stop the cycle,saving electricity. The chimes at end of cycle is helpful as my dryer is on the lower level of my home. Extremely satisfied with this dryer.

Love the dryer so far and all of the features. The only thing I wish was that I had a better understanding of when to use each of the many cycle options, especially with the amount of options that can be downloaded to the dryer. Sometimes it feels a little overwhelming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our dryer vent outlet cleaned by a professional prior to installation. We repeatedly get dryer blockage errors which shuts off the dryer. While I appreciate this safety feature, I do not enjoy having to clean the minute amount of lint from the dryer screen in order to use my dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We upgraded our laundry set after ours wasn’t getting the job done well and so glad we made the purchase! So many features and it so quiet, plenty of space to dry and our clothes smell great. I hate to say it but I now enjoy doing laundry!

This dryer is also awesome! Had it for 2 months now and operating flawlessly! We love the ThinQ feature and app on our phones. You get status update notifications, can check on status of the drying cycle, can download customer dry cycles, etc! Plus it it very aesthetic looking and we get nothing but positive feedback from visitors on this unit!
