[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Particular dryer because I wanted the Luxury of knowing with my dryer cycle was complete as I do for my washing machine however I was never able to get my Dryer to connect to the app. This sucks and I wasted so much money. I love the steam Capability even though I am not 100% that it works so I gave it two stars

Only one setting sort of works. I have to wash a (small) load every on the bedding setting .Even then it will show 7 minutes of drying time and a few minutes later it will show 19 minutes left. Soon after it will show 36 minutes. It takes half a day to dry a load of clothes. Towels and sheets end up being damp and I have to hang them to dry. If I try the heavy duty or normal cycle the dryer will run a few minutes, then stop, showing the d95 code. The dryer was installed correctly, the metallic ductwork is not bent or too long and the vent has been cleaned and is lint-free. Would not buy this product again.

I based purchase on LG’s high customer reliability reviews on the LG app and on Consumer Reports ratings and then on the number of features versus price. So far, my loads come out dry with all the default and/or customized settings for high temperature and more dry time. Love the quiet low sound as it dries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can get my laundry dry in a much shorter time than my old one since the old machine was not working any longer. However, it doesn't dry items completely, yet the cycle says it's finished drying. Delicates in particular don't dry completely. The instructions say to dry sheets on delicate, which I've done; however, when the drying cycle finishes, the sheets are still damp. I try running the delicate cycle again, hoping it will finish drying the sheets but again it finishes and the sheets are still damp. I finally use the "timed" cycle and a low heat setting, the sheets were dried. I have no idea why LG thinks you should put your sheets away damp??? I do like the large tub, the controls, with the various adjustments, the color, and the storage drawer. The storage drawer not only gives me the extra storage but also makes it a nice height. I do like the new dryer but I need to change how I dry things, I won't use the "delicate" cycle to dry sheets only longer.

Drys even comforters in once cycle, love the steam clean feature, and i know this sounds silly, but love the cheery chimes to let you know load is done….. like the app the also lets me know when cycle is done…

I bought this electric dryer over a year ago with the accompanying washing machine. I have been extremely satisfied with its performance and its durability. That dryer runs every day because we do a laundry every day. The features are more than easy to follow. What else can I say other than I would purchase and or recommend this product to anyone who needs a reliable appliance.

It was time to update my LG washer and dryer after over 15 years of faithful service. They both worked fine but I was anxious to replace them before I had a problem. With regard to the model DLGX4001B dryer, it’s amazing what technology advances have taken place in 15 years! The washer/dryer is WiFi enabled so that I can check the cycle progress on my phone and receive Alexa alerts once the cycle is finished. The dryer is paired to the washer so for example when the wash cycle for Towels is complete, the dryer automatically pre-selects the dry cycle for Towels. There are more cycles and each is much more unique with this model compared to my 15 year old machine. This model also features steam functions. It runs whisper quiet, smooth, and is solid as a rock. The unit looks great in black steel but a minor complaint is that the LED panel is a bit hard to see so I need reading glasses and a flashlight if I want to choose any of the many available dry options.

Within the month of owning this unit we have done multiple loads of laundry with no faults at all! The machine is whisper quiet, respectfully, and it very user friendly!! Pair this with the washer and it takes the guess work out of setting the dryer time and setting! Along with ease of use, the LG app and the ThinQ technology allows us to be away from the unit and home and monitor the status of each load! I highly recommend this unit and it’s sister dryer unit!

I also never thought I would need an app for my washer and dryer but it is quite a great feature for those who quickly forget they are doing laundry.
