I was able to take time looking for this dryer. It is such a good dryer. I love the features. The steam feature comes in handy on occasion. All of my summer clothes dry so fast on the perm press mode. I love that it also has a sensory mode to stop when the clothes are dry. It is so energy efficient. This purchase makes me so happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this dryer for about a month and I am very impressed with it so far. The sensor dry works great and does not over dry my clothes. The thing I like the best is the alert feature which sends alerts to my cell phone when a cycle finishes. I can also check on my phone to see how much longer until the cycle is done.

Purchased the washer/dryer pair to replace a 12 year old set. Installation was complicated since I need side venting and there are no drawings of dryer vent placement. My wife is visually impaired and appreciates the ease os selecting a cycle. Since the machines are at the opposite end of the house from where we usually hang out, the Internet connection telling me when cycles are complete is very helpful. Only installed for a few weeks but like the end results, clothing comes out clean much quicker than our previous machines.

These are replacing my 12 year old LG washer and dryer. Love the quality. These are quieter than my older models, clean and dry great, haven't tried the steam setting yet. Love the app that alerts you when the wash or dry is done, no more standing around waiting for it, and it let's you know whether you are at home or elsewhere, very cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dryer for a few weeks and it is a great compliment to my new washer. One of the nicest features is the ThinQ connection. It actually sends a message to my Apple Watch telling me the load is complete. This allows me to remove items more promptly, preventing wrinkles.

I'm mostly happy with this product. because I'm blind, I love that I can use the app to help me select the cycle I need. However, I wish the Remote Start button was as easy to find on the dryer as it is on the washer. Also, a couple of the dryer's features aren't working properly. The normal cycle doesn't run rthe length of time indicated by the app, and when it's through it makes a sound that sounds like an error signal, although the app doesn't indicate any problems. Also, the timed dry feature isn't working right either. The dryer just runs for a short while, no matter how much time it's actually set to run. and the timed dry is impossible to set up in the app, which is the way I need to do it.

Had a couple issues at about 15 years and was recommended to replace since they only last 10 years at the most. The issues went away till 5 years later so it was time to replace both. With that kind of reliability it was a no brainer to replace with LG products again.

I based purchase on LG’s high customer reliability reviews on the LG app and on Consumer Reports ratings and then on the number of features versus price. So far, my loads come out dry with all the default and/or customized settings for high temperature and more dry time. Love the quiet low sound as it dries.

I have noticed the following; it is very fast, it is quiet, it has has more settings than I can imagine. I’m still debating the purpose of the steam feature. However it does seem to hasten the drying time and the clothes smell great. The lint capture is so effective that almost no lint reaches the outside vent. In a month I haven’t cleaned the outside vent once. So far very pleased and the the fact that it is built 50 miles from Nashville in Clarksville, Tn is a huge plus.
