Nice assembly app, but some pics could be clearer.

Parts and hardware are well packaged, and the assembly app (replacing printed instructions) is easy to follow. However, the instructions could be more helpful in contrasting similar pieces like left & right side panels. Also, since the rail with top front door supports can be screwed on upside-down (until you learn how the push-pins function later in the build)... pictures highlighting the proper orientation could be clearer. The heavy griddle plate is pre-assembled to the stainless lid with hinges. The only downside to the assembly app is a limitation in electronic technology in outdoor elements. I chose a bright sunny day to assemble my griddle on the patio where I plan to use it. The display on my phone and tablet struggled to compete with the glaring sun. Still, the app worked well, and I am happy with the product. No troubles with any screw threads or panel alignment.

Better than expected

Assembled fairly easily. Directions could be better but it took about 45 min. Definitely need to clean it before seasoning. Took the seasoning really well. First cook was teppanyaki with steak and chicken fried rice and yakisoba. Everything was excellent. Cleaning was easy. Forget a Blackstone. This is way nicer looking and works just as well. And way less money.

I wrote too much because I love this griddle

I've been using this griddle for a few months now. Wanted to wait until I'd had it for a bit before leaving a review. I love this thing. I've cooked multiple breakfasts, lunches, and dinners on it and always been happy with the outcome. As with anything of this sort you're going to have hotter spots and you just need to learn those. You also need to learn the right temps at which to cook various dishes. I am not always successful, but that's on my, not the griddle. I did have it warp once early on, but did a bit of research and it said this happens sometimes with other brands, too, and it will flatten back out, which it did. Since that one time it's never happened...again, likely my fault learning how to use it. I love the extra storage and the lid. My brother-in-law has the big name brand and he had to pay a lot more to get a cover and he doesn't have any of the storage. I also love the side tables, though I removed the knobs for hanging things as I just use the magnets to hold my tools. It's actually better to use metal instruments on these types of surfaces (cast iron and carbon steel, too).

Best grill bought yet

I actually went to Sams to get the 4 burner griddle when it was on sale but they sold out so I bought this one instead, and I'm glad I did. I use it atleast 3-5 times a week for the past month and not 1 issue yet. Cleans nicely and the top is still great, just make sure you level it right! My coworker who has the 4 burner one is actually about to get this one because he said it's seems to be built alot better.

Great Griddle

I have a 28” Blackstone and now this 36” Member’s Mark Griddle. I picked it up at auction for $170. It was brand new and was a return. I can only assume it was returned because it required assembly, as there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I converted it to natural gas immediately and now have 2 griddles side by side next to my deep fryer and smokers. This griddle is awesome. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is considering a purchase. And yes it can be converted to natural gas, as can any propane appliance.

Nice and Sturdy

This was very easy to put together. My husband and I assembled it in about an hour. Using the app and the instructions in the box everything was simple to understand and follow. Be mindful that when you get to step 12 where you attach B15 to D18 it was already assembled.

Abismal griddle

Bought this griddle as an alternative to my Weber grill that just disintegrated. It looks great, but even after seasoning everything sticks to this griddle. Regret disposing of the Weber, at least food did not stick. Trying to determine how to repurpose this griddle and definitely would avod this item.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear about your frustration. Please Note: The griddle top is made of hot-rolled steel which does require ongoing seasoning by the user. Seasoning your griddle top improves the cooking performance, creates a non-stick surface for cooking, prevents damage and deterioration due to moisture and humidity, and extends the life of your griddle. With continued use of your griddle, the seasoning bond will get better and more non-stick. Don't forget to apply a coating of oil at the start and finish of each cook, to maintain seasoning. Never use soap to clean the griddle, this will destroy the seasoning. For your convenience, I've included a link to a step-by-step instructional video for how to thoroughly season your griddle top:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIDadWvHmkHope this helps!

Relatively easy assembly. Still learning the griddle. So far the only thing that I'm chasing is temperature control. I expect that will come over time with more experience cooking different types of foods.

I cooked on a commercial griddle many years ago. The surface was kept clean & unseasoned. Never had an issue. I cook primarily with cast iron now, so seasoning this griddle was not an issue. During assembly, one front caster would accept the locking pin due to a manufacturing defect. Simple fix. I used an adjustable jaw plier. Additionally, the lower front door mounting pins were not tightened in the assembly instructions. I used a small adjustable wrench to tighten them appropriately. The rest of the installation was smooth and uneventful until installing the propane tank. The regulator hose is a tad short. It was necessary to turn the tank valve toward the hose connection to prevent kinking the rubber hose. The leveling bolts on the griddle, in my opinion, are too short. I was not able to level the griddle using the leveling nuts until I shimmed the cabinet casters. This was partially due to my deck not being level. I used a short level to level the griddle Cooking. My first cook after seasoning the griddle was bacon. The bacon fat migrated to the edges of the griddle, indicating that the griiddle surface may not be completely flat. I'll be checking flatness soon. I was expecting the entire cabinet to be Stainless Steel. As it turns out, only a few parts are. The rest of the cabinet is powder coated. There was only one small area in the powder coating that might rust, so I'll be applying a bit of touchup paint. That blemish is on the inside of the upper door mount brace and not visible from the exterior. The design of the griddle top could, in my opinion, use some re-engineering. As it is, it allows the heat source to come up around all the sides, front, right, left, & of course, the back. This could be remedied with lower heat shields on the griddle. As it is, the heat from the burners rolls up in your face and will heat up any items you place on the side tables. Beware what you place there. The lid is a nice large stainless steel piece that opens easily. IIRC, the manual alludes to cleaning the inside of the lid, which seems to suggest that you can cook on the griddle with the lid closed. I can't think of any reason to have a griddle on with the lid closed, but there isn't a warning not to do so. I'm looking forward to cooking more items outdoors on this griddle and will be combining outdoor cooking methods, such as smoking meats before finishing on the griddle.

Best griddle

Glad i found this griddle. I looked at many different griddles and this was by far my favorite. The hood and covers look great, not cheesy black like BStone. It has leveling screws on the griddle, no need for leveling feet. The drip try is awesome and in the front, not the back. I seasoned it and never looked back, great food and the cooking surface temp is consistent. I bought one of the laser temp sensors. Did I mention it comes with a good cover? Assembly wasn't bad, I was able to assemble myself. Get it on sale $299!
