If you find that the unit is too hot, my recommendation to you would be to turn off every other burner, as they are all independently controlled. If you're not able to get out of "LOW" setting, it may be due to flow limiting device in the regulator having been activated. There are directions in your manual for performing a regulator reset procedure.
