The counter depth was perfect for our situation and the ice making features are ideal. The two doors allow us to access our food without letting warm air into the entire unit. So far we are more than pleased with our purchase.

There are a couple of things we're having to get used to: 1) you have to hold onto the left door (w/ the ice maker) when closing it, as it's heavy & will slam; 2) the 'craft' ice maker (in the freezer) only produces a maximum of 6 ice balls @ day. It would be nice to have the option to make normal ice cubes, from the freezer ice maker.

This LG refrigerator has updated our kitchen! (My last one was left in the house and was ALMOND!) I love how well the spaces work and my favorite thing is the drawer that can be a refrigerator or freezer! Brilliant! My husband loves the craft ice and a dinner guest wad do impressed he was talking about getting a ne refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The craft ice is a definite plus. Unfortunately, it stopped working in about 20 months. It was expeditiously corrected with a technician replacing the ice maker. We also like the exterior door which allows us to get our milk and other beverages without opening the large doors. Highly recommend this refrigerator.

So far I absolutely love the refrigeration part of this appliance. Well lit….easy to access everything. Love the door in door feature, which I wasn’t so sure of before purchasing. Love the draw feature. We currently using it solely for refrigerated goods, and it is awesome for those leftover containers that usually take up so much space in the regular compartment. Not as crazy about the freezer. Have not utilized any ice yet, as the smell and taste ruin whatever I’m drinking….hoping that will go away with time. Don’t really like the way the 2 freezer drawers do not operate independently- meaning why does the top draw have to come out when I only need to access the bottom area. Also, a little more thought could go into separating the freezer into compartments so that you can access specific items more easily. Overall 7 stars for the refrig part…..3 or 4 for the freezer and ice making portions, but a vast improvement over my old refrigerator!! Thanks for asking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really disappointed. I was hoping to get a great fridge after doing a lot of reviews, but it has been a huge disappointment. It has really poor temperature control, and the compressor noise is awful. I had a tech come out already but he acted like it was fine. It's not fine... I have my thermostat set to 35 F but the inside regularly gets up to 43 F as verified by calibrated and buffered thermometers. The layout, look, ice maker etc. are all great though. if the temp control and compressor noise weren't bad this would be a 5/5.

I thought the door within a door would be confusing, but I love it to get frequently used condiments and drinks. The small middle drawer is great for beverages as well so I don't have to expose food to the room air. The craft ice cubes a great to use as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I ordered this refrigerator, I was afraid the counter depth would not be big enough. However, I have come to love it for the ability to organize food so I know where everything is. It also ensures that I pull out old food to discard before it gets moldy. The middle drawer can be used as a deli drawer or as additional freezer space. I have not used the freezer option but it’s nice to know it’s there. The craft ice is wonderful…it takes a while to build up a supply, but I have since turned it off as we don’t use the ice faster than it makes it. Just use it for the occasional cocktail. The bottom freezer drawer is smaller than I’m used to, but it works ok because we have an additional freezer in the basement. All in all, I really like this model!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it for about 6 months and it doesn’t work. Well, it keeps things cold, so in that sense it works. However, something is wrong with the door sensor so it thinks it’s open when it’s not. You know what this causes? It causes an incessant dinking that renders all the features useless. No ice, no water from the door, nothing. Anyway, other than that it pretty. I guess.

There is a frustrating design flaw with this unit. At delivery, the center mullion would not operate properly. I had a tech out to service the unit. He raised the left door. The mullion operates, but only if I close the door sloooowly. At normal closing speed, the mullion does not operate properly.
