Not like older dryers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an older Amana dryer with this one. It's going to take time to get used to these new energy efficient products. The sensors inside the dryer make it almost impossible to get everything dry the first time.

Excellent Dryer at a Reasonable Price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about a month ago, it's been excellent from day one. It dries in a reasonable amount of time for an Energy Star Certified machine, others take far longer. Also, the options that don't offer energy savings are present and work very well for bedding, thick fabrics (old-school jeans), and other items that need a higher heat to dry. The tone it gives off is loud enough to be heard from my basement by default, but can be altered to a lower volume if it is too loud for you. Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase, it was an excellent price for an excellent dryer.

Poor Drying

Since it was delivered the sensor in the dryer has not functioned as it should. Even when put on Very dry it will frequently leave them damp. LG sent a service man, he stood over it for 30 minutes, declared all worked right and left. It still does not dry well on any of the preset settings, Normal, Permanent press, etc. He said we just have to use timed dry!!! Then why is there a sensor??? Not happy with LG or the dryer.

Hello. We appreciate you sharing your experience with your LG DLE6100W Dryer. We recognize the situation you have faced with the sensor cycles leaving items damp and the general drying performance of your unit. To help improve the sensor accuracy, we recommend wiping down the metal sensor bars inside the drum with a damp cloth and a little rubbing alcohol to remove any residual fabric softener buildup, as well as keeping your load sizes consistent. For more targeted troubleshooting to improve your drying results, please visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-why-is-my-dryer-not-heating-not-drying-or-taking-a-long-time-drying--1432223739634?srsltid=AfmBOopYcY1Ah4_thVtvMrvnxOM67GwoT0WDyA7lbrWflj-Iex2vJptL. Great support.

Mother in law was having problems with dyers 2 had been sent back. We bought her an LG and no heat was being produced. The person who helped us on the CHAT Had us running heat test and helped us narrow it down and they were correct. It was a loose wire in the wall unit.

Highly Recomend

I'm incredibly impressed with the LG 7.3 CU. FT. REAR CONTROL GAS ENERGY STAR DRYER WITH SENSOR DRY. It's a high-quality, efficient, and user-friendly dryer that has exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new dryer.

Old time user, new time machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago snd I'm use to the old time dryers. 🤷‍♀️ It took me a bit to get to understand and use the dryer nut I did it. Instructions were easy to follow. We bought it and rushed it out the door to get it home and use my new choir toy. 😆 Has made energy saving a thing for me. Love that it turns itself off when it knows my clothes are dry. No unnecessary time finishing instead finishing when they are dry no matter what I set it for. Thanks and the buzzer is a melody not a buzzer. 🥰

Works great, until it doesn’t

This dryer was efficient and did a good job….until less than 4 months into ownership it will no longer run on high or medium heat. We are awaiting the warranty repairman to come out and see what needs to be fixed, but for the last few weeks have only been able to dry on low heat which takes multiple cycles to dry a load of laundry. Hopefully this is just the exception

quiet machine

I had to replace my old dryer, didn't want to spend money that we didn't have, but I'm actually glad I got it, the clothes dry quicker in this dryer, and oddly enough I'm most impressed with the lint trap! I didn't realize my clothes had so much lint.! The only complain I can come up with is that it sets to low to the floor.

My verdict, go with LG appliances!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an excellent appliance with nice features. It is easy to operate and so much quieter than my previous dryers. Customer service with LG is top notch, any questions you have are immediately answered. A reliable, well made choice, I am so happy I did my research and picked this dryer.
