Poor design.

The LG ThinQ app and feature is almost useless. Socks and small towels are getting stuck in the gap between the drum and the door. This could be a hazard, if it catches fire.

Great features

I bought this is December and am generally happy with it, except for the fact the normal dry cycle on the "Energy Saver" setting t00akes way too long to dry, increasing my electric bill.

Enjoying the new LG dryer!

Pleased with the LG dryer. The price was better than other dryers that size. The clothes dry quickly, it's quiet, and bigger than the last dryer. My wife really likes it, happy wife, happy life! Delievery was quick and on time.

Great washer for it's size

Great washer. This is my second lg washer and they seem to last without many repairs. Wish it had a timer which told you how much longer the wash would run.

Dryer Redeemed

So just putting this review to counter an earlier one I did where I crapped on this dryer. So after months of struggling with our dryer, we had our roof vent replaced with a DryerJack vent by In-O-Vate and our dryer is working like a dream. So far it's drying at full capacity and temparature is holding good. Noise levels are where they should be. Overall it's a good dryer now that the venting is completely clear and got the right parts.

Hi! Coming in with a well‑deserved shoutout — glad to hear your dryer is finally showing off what it can really do with proper venting in place. Always nice when the fix turns out to be upstream and the appliance gets to redeem itself. For any future assistance, you can always reach out to @LGUSSupport. ^James

ALL the Sound None of the Dry.

This model is the base of base models. I regretted this purchase the first time I ran a load of laundry! This dryer is the noisiest with loud chiming at each end of the cycle and intermittently if you don't take care of it right away. There is NO way to turn off the sound. The sensor on the dryer senses the clothes are dry after only 30 minutes (at best, even if I run a time dry cycle.) I am on the third run of my current load. There is also no light inside the drum to help you see to get the clothes out. The "Normal" setting does not allow for a temperature change. If I want a temperature other than medium I have to change the setting. The only pro is that there is ZERO "SMART/ AI/ WIFI/ APP anything to it.

Hello, Tedie. We appreciate you sharing your experience with your LG DLE6100W Dryer, and we want you to feel confident using the features that help you get the drying results you’re looking for. This model uses sensor‑based drying, so the chime you’re hearing at the end of the cycle is part of the alert system, and the Normal cycle’s temperature is preset to protect fabrics. If you prefer more control, selecting a manual cycle like Time Dry allows you to choose the exact temperature and duration. You can also review how each cycle and option behaves here: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-common-noises-during-the-dry-cycle--20153081341056 If you’d like us to take a closer look at your unit or walk through settings that may better fit your routine, feel free to email us at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. HATE IT!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I HATE this dryer!!!! It takes multiple cycles to get items damp! LG says the lint has to be cleaned out, I've had it cleaned out TWICE in the 9 months I've had it! I spend ALL day trying to dry 2 loads! It's ridiculous! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Plus there's no way to turn off the end of cycle chime!!! There is no internal light either!

Worst dryer ever!

Worst dryer ever. First 3 months it was just not good. Took hours to dry on Senser drying but it worked. Now constant codes. LG sent a repair man who did a 30 second self test and said all was well. He blamed my duct and left. Disconnected from the duct and just blowing out the back it still codes and stops in 15-20 minutes. Started the claim proccess over and NO response. Call the tech who left his number and NO response. I am charging back my credit card.

Hi there, Joe. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your situation and we can imagine how it must be when your dryer isn't working as expected.Based on what you're describing, it sounds like the error codes may be related to airflow or sensor issues. As a first step, we recommend checking for any lint buildup in the venting system, as restricted airflow can sometimes trigger error codes or cause drying cycles to stop prematurely. Additionally, ensure that the sensor inside the drum is clean and free from any residue.https://www.samsclub.com/p/lg-7-3-cf-electric-energy-star-dryer/P03020013Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport with your model details and the specific error codes you're seeing, and we'll have our team assist you in resolving this as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and look forward to helping you!—Renzo

Quality is bad

First one was damaged upon delivery and I was lied to by a driver that he will submit for a replacement but he didnt that costs me 10 days of waiting. When I contact Samsclub customer service, they refused to let me return so I have to get it escalated to higher level. Got a replacement delivered as defective, the dryer keep turn off without drying the clothes
