Thank you for taking time to leave a review. The photo you provided appears to be a small amount of rust on the side table. Please Note: WD-40 is a great solution for removing rust off painted surfaces. It will not only loosen the rust so that it can be easily and gently wiped off without damaging the painted surfaces. Proper maintenance and storage will go a long way in the longevity of your grill. CLEANING THE EXTERIOR PAINTED SURFACES1. Clean painted surfaces with warm soapy water.2. After wiping down all surfaces, rinse thoroughly with water.3. Dry with a soft microfiber cloth.DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICAL CLEANERS ON PAINTED SURFACES AS THEY COULD STRIP THE PAINT AND PERMANENTLY DAMAGE THE SURFACE, LEAVING IT UNPROTECTED.A thorough cleaning is recommended at least twice a year, or more if your barbecue is used consistently, or if in harsher or wetter environments such as coastal communities. The Member's Mark Pro-Series 4 Burner Gas Grill also comes with an included all weather grill cover. If storing grill outdoors, cover grill with a grill cover for protection from the weather.
