Doesn't seem to get hot enough.
The unit is well built and solid. Assembly was time consuming, but not particularly difficult, although, you're going to need a second person to help lift the pre-assembled grill box onto the base. However, the unit doesn't seem to get as hot as the manufacturer claims it is capable of. The manual says that the flames from the burners should be blue/yellow, 1"-2" on high. On high, my flames are blue, but only about 1/2"-3/4" high. The manufacturer claims that the unit can reach temperatures that exceed 650 degrees, but, after running it on high for more than 30 minutes, the hottest it got was 550. I've performed the regulator reset procedure (something I'd never had to do in more than 40 years of owning propane grills) 4 or 5 times, and I switched to a full propane tank, but, there's been no change. I have to cook everything on "high" and I have to pre-heat it for a longer period and cook the food for longer times . I don't know if there's something wrong with my unit, or if this is just the way this model performs, but, it's disappointing that such a well built unit isn't performing at a higher level.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review with your experience. We are sorry to hear that you're having heating issues. If you have tried performing a regulator reset to no avail, please perform a leak test of the regulator and all the connections. How to Preform a Leak Test:1. Turn all control knobs to “OFF”.2. Ensure that the regulator is securely connected to LP cylinder.3. Create a mixture of 50% water and 50% liquid dishwashing soap. Spray the water and soap solution onto hose, regulator and all connections from the LP tank to the main and side burner manifold.4. Open LP cylinder valve by turning hand wheel counterclockwise. If you hear a rushing sound, or smell gas, turn gas off immediately. There is a leak at the connection. CORRECT BEFORE PROCEEDING. If leak is detected at connection nut and tightening does not stop leak, reinspect propane tank rubber seal.5. If “growing” bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close LP cylinder valve immediately and re-tighten connections. If leaks cannot be stopped, do not try to repair. Call for replacement parts. Order new parts by providing the serial number, model number, name and part number of items required (see parts list) to a MEMBERS MARK BARBECUE CUSTOMER CARE AGENT 1-833-454-0864.6. Always close LP cylinder valve after performing leak test by turning hand wheel clockwise. For your convenience, I've included a link below, to a step-by-step instructional video for how to perform a leak test:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MBgBhVeUZMMember’s Mark items carry a 100% member satisfaction guarantee.
