This dryer is very quiet which I like very much. Unfortunately, it takes a long time for the clothes to dry. Also, I noticed that a lot of lint is produce. Most of the clothing is 100 cotton and reused. The price is high.

Adjusting to dryer

I'm still learning how to use the different functions on my dryer. I usually have to change the setting to more dry or else the clothes come out fairly damp.

Hi, Shea! Thanks for sharing your experience! — sounds like your dryer is doing a solid job overall, even if you’re still dialing in those settings to get everything fully dry on the first go. We’ll make sure your note about needing to bump it to “more dry” gets passed along to our product team. If you ever need anything down the road, you can always reach out to @LGUSSupport. ^James

The worst dryer I’ve ever owned

The worst dryer I’ve ever owned! It can barely complete a cycle without stopping and having to clear out the dryer vent. Over a three year period we had to replace the heating element twice steer clear of this piece of junk.

Hi, Mike. Thank you for sharing what’s been happening with your LG Dryer, and it’s clear the performance hasn’t matched what you expected. A cycle stopping mid‑way and repeated heating element replacements over the years definitely isn’t the experience we want you to have with your LG unit. To allow us to properly investigate the details of your specific product model and to see how we can assist with your dryer issue being encountered, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com if you need further assistance. Absolute useless

Flowsense is the most idiotic system to ever be added to a dryer. This is the first dryer I have ever had issues with, it refuses to dry for more than 10 minutes at a time. If you don't have a direct straight shot outside from dryer to external vent forget about using this product. Prior to install, the vent ducting was cleaned, the collapsible connector hose (dryer to wall) was shortened to prevent it from bending) My dryer location prevents me from changing the vent pipe, so I'm stuck with a dryer that triggers an infuriating D90/D95 error code every 10 minutes or less. 90% air flow blocked in reference to what? This sensor is way too sensitive.

Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the LG DLE3400W dryer. We’re truly sorry to hear about the frustration you’re experiencing with the FlowSense™ system and the repeated D90/D95 error codes. The FlowSense™ feature is designed to help protect your home and the dryer by monitoring venting conditions and alerting you to airflow restrictions that could impact drying performance or safety. That said, we completely understand how disruptive it can be when the system seems overly sensitive—especially when vent modifications aren't possible due to your installation setup. It sounds like you’ve taken thoughtful steps already—like cleaning the ducts and minimizing hose bends—and we appreciate that effort. In some cases, factors like overall vent length, the number of elbows, or even the type of ducting material can still impact airflow detection, even if everything looks clear. We’d like the opportunity to troubleshoot this further or explore potential solutions. Please don’t hesitate to contact our LG Customer Support team at 1-888-542-2623, available Monday through Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time. Be sure to have your model number (DLE3400W) and the specific error codes handy so we can assist you as efficiently as possible. We appreciate your feedback—it helps us continue improving both our products and our support. We're here to help get your dryer working the way it should. Sincerely, The LG Electronics Team

Great but no low heat on most cycles

Dryer works great. Clothes don't get stuck on the edges of the veins. Seems to dry clothes. Just great. The only problem I have is all of the cycles except delicate or time to dry don't have a low heat option. Unfortunately, every piece of clothing made today is tumble dry. Low. Kind of makes the dryer for the most part not useful.
