These new LG washers and dryers controls suck. Apparently there is a default setting LG thinks you want. It always defaults to normal dry. Which is great if you want to cook your clothes on high. If you use other modes every time you have to turn the knob to that mode. The. If you select the temp then the dry time, LG decides they should reset the temp setting to high. Thanks LG, I probably wanted to change the temp setting after already selecting what I wanted. The washer is the same. Defaults to high spin. Super cool if you want to watch your washer dance across the floor. Skip LG for you next set

I bought this specifically because I wanted a new dryer and because I needed a stackable. It’s very quiet and does the job. Only problem I have is figuring out how do use the sensor dry. I’m not putting the correct clothes together to get maximum dryness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dryer, but it’s best feature is the vent sense that detects if you have blockage in your dryer vent pipe. It told us the pipe was 80% blocked when we first installed it and we cleaned out the pipe right away. Kept us safe and made our dryer more efficient. That is a great feature.

Working in appliances at a major retailer, I was skeptical about purchasing anything LG, but due to availability during COVID, my hands were tied. It actually worked out better though. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 months ago after a competitor's dryer died after 2 year's ownership. I didn't feel the necessity to have more than the basic cycles (too many I can easily feel confused). My DWE3400 meets my goals. I would suggest the design/marketing team not overlook it's lack of an inner tub light and either add one or prominently highlight a note that you'll have to be the one to add a magnetic exterior light.

We purchased this dryer a couple of weeks ago. It’s quiet, works great and the clothes come out just as I prefer. I love the little chime that lets me know the load is done. No more obnoxious buzzer like my old dryer. Really like the features on this.
