[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new dryer, I purchased in February. The various settings allow you to chose the appropriate dry time without having to figure out how long to thoroughly dry something. One less thing to figure out!

On perma press cycle, clothes don't completely cool before the dryer stops. The dry signal is hard to hear, so it's hard to remove the clothing from the dryer immediately after dryer cycle is finished to prevent wrinkles. The warm clothes then sit still for 4 minutes. The Wrinkle Care setting then engages, but revolves only 7 times before it stops. Then the clothes sit another 4 minutes before revolving a few times. At this point, the clothes are wrinkled enough that I need to start another dry cycle to get the clothes warm again and run for 5 more minutes to remove the wrinkles. The Wrinkle Care will run for up to 3 hours, but it is nothing like the wrinkle guard feature I've had on other dryers. On this dryer, the clothes mostly just sit still with a few token revolutions now and then. The still-warm clothing gets wrinkled in the first 4 minutes of sitting still after the perma press cycle stops, and they're going to stay wrinkled. Good/bad: bed sheets dry completely and quickly on bedding setting, but the sensor doesn't sense they are dry. The dryer will keep going long after they're dry. Good points: A low heat setting that effectively dries but at a gentle heat. Towels dry quickly and completely without overdrying.

I bought this in December 2022 and have enjoyed the 'filter alert' that told me the vent system in my house needed to be cleaned. It also will alert you when the filter in the front of the dryer needs cleaning. This has simple electronic controls that do NOT include WiFi. It dries my Laundry-what else does one really need?

I can't wait to tell my friends WHY I bought this specific dryer (whether they ask or not, LOL). It had been a long time since I needed a new dryer. Knowing I needed a new dryer I started researching quality dryers and asking friends what dryer they have and do they like it. After much research (Consumer Reports, reviews, and visiting stores to see a variety of dryers) I decided on this LG dryer. It does not have ALL the bells and whistles as some I saw on some of the dryers. I didn't NEED all the bells and whistles. THIS dryer has just enough for what I need for two people and occasional guests. It is easy to use. It is quiet... so quiet. It has a bigger drum than my replacement dryer. I am so happy with my new LG dryer and highly recommend it for any size family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really dislike this product. We have had it a little over a month and definitely does not dry. I have had to take my items to different dryers since we received it. There is constantly an "error code" or the cycle indicates that it's done, but the clothes are totally wet. I waited two weeks for a technician to look and he basically told me to take the "energy saver" feature off each time we use the dryer. This also hasn't made a difference. Very disapointed.

I am now comfortable with how to set the configuration and the detergent the way I prefer. The machine is quiet and does everything I want. Why pay $200 more for WiFi? Do you really need that?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a mate to the washer so I could stack them in a closet. Very pleased with this except some times it does not dry the clothes enough - but - it could be me not getting the proper setting yet. I have only had this for a few weeks. I do not think the stacking piece is strong enough though but it is OK. The electrical cord should be a little longer also because due to this being stacked the outlet had to be moved up a little. All in all this is a good quality dryer - and an energy star product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our nearly 30 year old washer and dryer finally gave out. Through a consumer agency, these LG appliances were recommended. We couldn’t be happier! Everything gets cleaned and dried twice as fast and is so much more energy efficient and especially water efficient, which is a must here in the dry West! We got front loading appliances because the vtop load washer was too tall for our space. Over the long run, it will be interesting as to how much time, money and energy we save!

We purchased this dryer a couple of weeks ago. It’s quiet, works great and the clothes come out just as I prefer. I love the little chime that lets me know the load is done. No more obnoxious buzzer like my old dryer. Really like the features on this.

We had an LG refrigerator and love the quality so I went a head and bought her a LG dryer. She now has told me numerous times about how great it is. No lint on her black pants, quiet and easy to use. Not once did I get a comment about my great choice on this dryer. I think she likes it better then me and I know she likes the cat better too.
