[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this washer for a few weeks now. It's a little quirky hat some wash programs don't let you chose a "high spin" cycle (e.g. bedding) so that the laundry comes out damp and leaves more work for the dryer. I'm reluctant to choose a "soil level high" setting, because it might triple the washing time (3 hours instead of 60 minutes). The washer tries to clever and balance the load when it comes to spin cycles - this sometimes does work, other times it does not (you'll get an error message in the display and have to help the washer to untangle the load or just move things in the drum and then let it continue).

With it up on the pedestal it makes it easier for my wife and me to get the clothes out of the dryer - one of the main reasons we switched from our old dryer. It is eay to operate and does a very nice job of drying the clothes. Only drawback, which we did not discover until after it was delivered and installed, was that there is no light inside the drum to see the clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was bought 4 months ago and am happy with purchase.Beware that the dryer sheets may bunch up at the door near the lint catcher.. I'm using alpaca balls instead to solve the problem. Otherwise I would give this dryer 5 stars. It is much more quieter than my old dryer and more efficient too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my newest dryer after my last one. Decided to start making a noise. That resembled a plane taking off. My previous dryer and this one are both LG brands. Due to the way brand lasts years. Before, you need to do any kind of maintenance. My only complaint on my new dryer. Is that I would prefer for my clothes to come out of the dryer hotter. This new one no matter what setting . You set it to, to get the clothes hotter. Just, won't let you. I can only assume it's a safety issue.

We bought the washer and matching dryer to replace our old Kenmore Elite set. My husband does laundry most of the time but of course I had to try out the new machines. The features that we were looking for were the cleanable lint trap and the tub cleaner as our old washer could get rather stinky and cleaning it was a major chore, hoping this model will remedy that. We have our machines in the basement so it would be great if the washer and dryer had different end of cycle chimes. We’re are both over 60 and do not relish going downstairs only to find that the load isn’t ready for the dryer. One thing we find difficult (and it may be our age) is getting it to prewash. We eventually get it but it’s a struggle every time. I’m sure that we can learn the process but it definitely isn’t intuitive. Maybe they made it that way as a water saving feature?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this about a month ago and have used just about all of the cycles. My items come out really clean! I chose this model, based on other reviews, and because I really liked a lot of the features. I liked the simple design of the control panel, mainly because there are less complicated items which could need repair. I love how quietly it runs. I was a bit concerned when I saw how long the run cycle was displayed, but it adjusts for the size of your load and has never taken that long. I like the design of the rubber seal because it’s easy to wipe dry after each use. My last washer’s seal was very difficult to wipe dry. I haven’t cleaned out the drain, as of yet. I’m a little worried to do that, seeing how some other reviewers had problems with that. I’ll write an update when I do clean it. I’m really happy with this purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my LG smart electric dryer. It dryes the clothes in 2 cycle unlike my old dryer. It is the perfect size with a 7.4 drum and multiple cycles. I can even download other cycles. The price was affordable and I am very happy I got this one and not another brand. I also have th LG washer we bought 2 years ago. Awesome customer service as well.

It is working really well and we are satisfied with the performance. the machine was/is very heavy

The only work order that I have placed ended up being the vent inside the house to the outside - the dryer was innocent and worked properly the whole time. The error codes are easy to look up and simple to understand. This dryer has many options and comes setup for lower energy use. If I am able to wear this one out, it's replacement would definitely be another LG Dryer!
