I think the dryer is fine... but the so-called "instructions" come with directions about plugging it in, leveling it, connecting it to my phone (why, oh why?), but DO NOT EXPLAIN the buttons on the machine itself. It refers to them... but not how to work them (like that cursed hold thing). For that, I had to go online. ONLINE? The big book of instructions contained not a hint of how to actually work the machine? What the buttons mean? NADA. RIEN. NOTHING but silence. Why even publish if the basic functions, what I bought the machine for, have to remain mysterious until I fire up my computer. Really. Ridiculous. Very disappointed. And don't you dare call this user friendly -- you obviously never tried it out on your granny without standing at her elbow to explain everything. So unless you are willing to come here and stand at my elbow when I want to dry some clothes, print some instructions. You lost me on this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace a gas unit because I had issues with the gas line on the house that was corroded and I had to disconnect the gas line. The cost to run a new gas line was more expensive than buying new appliances, thats why I purchased this unit two weeks ago. So far we were happy with the unit, the sensor dry feature is very nice. You just set to normal and the system will adjust the time. My wife tells me the clothes are suffering less is comparison to the gas dryer. Im monitoring the electricity consumption and it doesn't use a lot electricity. At the end I will be saving money by not paying for gas. I have solar energy

I bought this last June and drum already cracked. Submitted a claim and had to send what the problem was and send pictures. Local guy came to fix it and was unaware what the problem was when he got here so had to order the part. I am happy they replaced the part but it was kind of a hassle.

Working in appliances at a major retailer, I was skeptical about purchasing anything LG, but due to availability during COVID, my hands were tied. It actually worked out better though. I really love my this was and dryer set.

I bought this dryer a few weeks ago, and now that I figured out how to use it, I love it! This ultra-large capacity dryer accompanies our older large capacity washer. At first, the automatic dryness settings were leaving clothes damp, because my wash loads were too small for the dryer's sensor to accurately measure moisture levels. Now for small loads, I use the timed dry setting, where I set the heat level, drying time, and wrinkle guard. It works really well; I just had to relearn how much time it takes to dry fabrics. Sometimes I combine two wash loads into one dryer load. Then there are enough clothes for the moisture sensor to accurately detect dampness, and the clothes come out perfectly dry. I love how quietly this dryer runs. At first I thought I wouldn't like the singing tones, but actually I find them cheerful, and I feel like I'm having a conversation with my dryer whenever they play. The song at the end is a major improvement on the loud BUZZ! that was our old dryer's signal of completion.

We had an LG refrigerator and love the quality so I went a head and bought her a LG dryer. She now has told me numerous times about how great it is. No lint on her black pants, quiet and easy to use. Not once did I get a comment about my great choice on this dryer. I think she likes it better then me and I know she likes the cat better too.

I'm using mine stacked in a condo with limited space so it's great to have a larger capacity, sleek and streamlined washer/dryer option that fits.
