I bought this washer and dryer set based on Consumer Reports reviews. I regret the purchase immediately. I should have kept my old 80s appliances, The dryer is giving a blocked duct code. Everything is brand new, no way are the ducts blocked, Trying to be a better consumer and wish I had my old working dryer,

We have never owned a LG product before but we are very impressed with the features and ease of operation of this unit We went back and purchased the matching washer the next week. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my dryer arrived, it looked small and I was immediately concerned as I wash my comforter often -- upon using it, I realized the dryer maybe smaller than my old dryer but the drum is actually larger. The dryer works well and I'm very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dryer, but it’s best feature is the vent sense that detects if you have blockage in your dryer vent pipe. It told us the pipe was 80% blocked when we first installed it and we cleaned out the pipe right away. Kept us safe and made our dryer more efficient. That is a great feature.

I bought this dryer a few weeks ago, and now that I figured out how to use it, I love it! This ultra-large capacity dryer accompanies our older large capacity washer. At first, the automatic dryness settings were leaving clothes damp, because my wash loads were too small for the dryer's sensor to accurately measure moisture levels. Now for small loads, I use the timed dry setting, where I set the heat level, drying time, and wrinkle guard. It works really well; I just had to relearn how much time it takes to dry fabrics. Sometimes I combine two wash loads into one dryer load. Then there are enough clothes for the moisture sensor to accurately detect dampness, and the clothes come out perfectly dry. I love how quietly this dryer runs. At first I thought I wouldn't like the singing tones, but actually I find them cheerful, and I feel like I'm having a conversation with my dryer whenever they play. The song at the end is a major improvement on the loud BUZZ! that was our old dryer's signal of completion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a month ago and it is perfect. I love the multiple drying features and how quiet it is. Sheet don’t get bundled into a ball to where they remain wet in the center and clothes come out dry with minimal wrinkles.

I'm still figuring out how to get all of my clothes to dry (the sensor 'thinks' they are dry, but often some are still damp) and I'm working with customer service on this. They've been communicative and helpful.

Dryer works well, does a better job of getting clothes dry in one cycle than our Bosch did. Store delivery team took 4 trips to properly level, and change internal ground on Dryer to accommodate 4 prong plug (training problem?). Pedestal not built as well as the Bosch, loose back plate will rattle if machine is not solid to floor, plastic drawer seems too lightly made.
