I bought this a month ago. It is very effective and super quiet!! I also like that the front is glass and not plastic. The lint trap is a single sheet of screen and is easily removed and cleaned, without the extra step of opening it at a clip as on other brands.

Bought this dryer brand new, and in 11 months it broke. LG at least honored the warranty and sent out a repair man. The dryer is "fixed", but it now makes an annoying noise when it runs. Which, it definitely DID NOT make before. I imagine the dryer will work another month when it breaks again, but at that point it will be out of Warranty and not LG's problem.

I had the same dryer in a former residence and when I had to purchase a new dryer and washer, I bought the same model with the drawers below. I love how it sits higher and I don't need to bend to get my clothes out. Also, it does a great job drying.

We don't have a high volume of laundry, so I've not used them very much, but I'm pleased with both at this time. Lots of features on both: you can choose from towels, permanent press, delicate and more. Various speed on dryer and multiple heat and time settings.. so far I'm very pleased.

We bought the washer/dryer set in mid August 2020 and the dryer drum already has a rip in the seam. About a year ago it was sounding loud like the drum was hitting something every time it did a rotation. We are in the process of having the drum replaced which has a theee year warranty. I feel like that term was intentionally set because the manufacturer knew that this part starts having problems after 3 years. We paid a lot of money for these units and I have a feeling they aren’t going to last for very long. We had an awesome washer and dryer at our old house that was still going great after 10 years. We sold out house so they had to stay, but I would trade these units for those in a second

On perma press cycle, clothes don't completely cool before the dryer stops. The dry signal is hard to hear, so it's hard to remove the clothing from the dryer immediately after dryer cycle is finished to prevent wrinkles. The warm clothes then sit still for 4 minutes. The Wrinkle Care setting then engages, but revolves only 7 times before it stops. Then the clothes sit another 4 minutes before revolving a few times. At this point, the clothes are wrinkled enough that I need to start another dry cycle to get the clothes warm again and run for 5 more minutes to remove the wrinkles. The Wrinkle Care will run for up to 3 hours, but it is nothing like the wrinkle guard feature I've had on other dryers. On this dryer, the clothes mostly just sit still with a few token revolutions now and then. The still-warm clothing gets wrinkled in the first 4 minutes of sitting still after the perma press cycle stops, and they're going to stay wrinkled. Good/bad: bed sheets dry completely and quickly on bedding setting, but the sensor doesn't sense they are dry. The dryer will keep going long after they're dry. Good points: A low heat setting that effectively dries but at a gentle heat. Towels dry quickly and completely without overdrying.

Our new dryer sings to us when it's turned on and when its done! Wow! What a great way to do laundry!! When our washer goes out we are definitely going to get the LG. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HUGE dryer. Works well, dries fast. Very happy with it. Do not like the "energy savings" option that comes up every load and which I turn off. All it seems to do is run the dryer without heat for a while, extending the drying time by significant amounts. I can't see that doing that is saving much electricity and having to turn it off with each load is a bit annoying, I am all for saving electricity but this feature seems to save a very negligible amount. Other than that, 5 stars.
