When we got tired of pouring maintenance money into it, our appliance service person recommended the LG brand. We decided to go with the one that had a lower amount of the fancy electronic additions to it. We absolutely love how quiet it is, and how many drying options there are. We're still getting used to the differences between it and our previous dryer; but so far after 30 days we are really happy with it, and glad we chose this model.

We have never owned a LG product before but we are very impressed with the features and ease of operation of this unit We went back and purchased the matching washer the next week. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my dryer arrived, it looked small and I was immediately concerned as I wash my comforter often -- upon using it, I realized the dryer maybe smaller than my old dryer but the drum is actually larger. The dryer works well and I'm very happy with it.

I'm still figuring out how to get all of my clothes to dry (the sensor 'thinks' they are dry, but often some are still damp) and I'm working with customer service on this. They've been communicative and helpful.

Dryer works well, does a better job of getting clothes dry in one cycle than our Bosch did. Store delivery team took 4 trips to properly level, and change internal ground on Dryer to accommodate 4 prong plug (training problem?). Pedestal not built as well as the Bosch, loose back plate will rattle if machine is not solid to floor, plastic drawer seems too lightly made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dryer, but it’s best feature is the vent sense that detects if you have blockage in your dryer vent pipe. It told us the pipe was 80% blocked when we first installed it and we cleaned out the pipe right away. Kept us safe and made our dryer more efficient. That is a great feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the washer/ dryer a few weeks ago and I like the quiet cycles.The magnetic door device to keep the washer open and drying completely. My clothes dry quickly because of less water being used. The dryer feature that lets you know something isn’t right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we upgraded to the LG equipment, I expected to have an easier time doing laundry because the machine would keep the settings I use rather than being limited to preset selections. I always read the directions on our clothes and many of the permanent-press ones say to dry them on low. But the perm press setting on the dryer will not allow me to choose that temperature so I have to choose between the perm press machine-determined choice of “warm” or manual setting for the dryer so I can set the temperature myself. I might as well have one of the less expensive machines where I am able to control each setting. Also, even though I choose “very dry,” shirt collars, waistbands, pockets, cloth around the elastic on fitted sheets, etc. are still wet when the dryer decides it’s done enough. I have some clothes made of bamboo and I have to use the manual setting to get them dry. I believe that whoever made these decisions tested loads of laundry that were all the same and not mixed items as is usual when doing family laundry. For instance, when I wash a load of towels, the dryer does a good job drying them as they are all the same material. I also do not like that I’m told in the manual to go on the Internet for complete explanations of what the machine does. There should at least be a sentence about each setting in the manual that would give me a general idea of whether or not I want to look it up for further information.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a front load before (different brand) and wasn't happy so was a little leary but I will say I am impressed with how clean this gets everthing. We are a farm family so the clothes are DIRTY not just needing refreshed.
