[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this LG because I thoroughly was happy with my LG washing machine. I found a place who sold them and I went to buy it. I had it delivered and installed and the very first drying cycle my daughter dried in one cycle. My old dryer took up to 12 times. It is quiet and easy to set up the dry cycles. It was so nice to dry my clothes in one cycle. I also like it has a smart ability to let me know if something is not working. I am absolutely satisfied with my dryer and highly recommend the brand.

Used the machine now for about 2 months. Relatively easy to navigate the controls. Still learning how to get items completely dry. A few dislikes: NO Light! Very dark inside.This new machine replaced a dryer from the 1980s...It had a light! Dryer sheets get hung-up/stuck between the drum and the inside of the machine. And they are stuck. Takes some effort to get them out. But like the tune it plays when it finishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HUGE dryer. Works well, dries fast. Very happy with it. Do not like the "energy savings" option that comes up every load and which I turn off. All it seems to do is run the dryer without heat for a while, extending the drying time by significant amounts. I can't see that doing that is saving much electricity and having to turn it off with each load is a bit annoying, I am all for saving electricity but this feature seems to save a very negligible amount. Other than that, 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a Very old unit. It is quiet and works very well. In addition, it is easy to use and gets cloths dry the first time! None of that, well they are damp and run some more! I used the speed dry and was quite impressed with the short time it took. I bought the matching washet also and the price for both was NOT CHEAP! however, I believe it was money well spent. Very impressive washet and dryer! I am not easy to please when it comes to a purchase like this but the simple fact is the washer and dryer continue to exceed my expectations.

I can't wait to tell my friends WHY I bought this specific dryer (whether they ask or not, LOL). It had been a long time since I needed a new dryer. Knowing I needed a new dryer I started researching quality dryers and asking friends what dryer they have and do they like it. After much research (Consumer Reports, reviews, and visiting stores to see a variety of dryers) I decided on this LG dryer. It does not have ALL the bells and whistles as some I saw on some of the dryers. I didn't NEED all the bells and whistles. THIS dryer has just enough for what I need for two people and occasional guests. It is easy to use. It is quiet... so quiet. It has a bigger drum than my replacement dryer. I am so happy with my new LG dryer and highly recommend it for any size family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a long time LG customer. Really enjoy the sensor that alerted me to an airflow issue with my exhaust. Went and found there was a blockage so very happy for the alert. On the downside, the dryness sensor is a little premature as the socks are always still just a little damp.

Review of Consumer Reports showed this dryer rated pretty high and LG as a brand was the obvious leader for dryers. After several uses, we love the new dryer! It has larger capacity and dries clothes very well. The wrinkle free option is really great. Feel confident I made the right choice and got a top notch product at a fairly reasonable price.

Ordered washer/dryer pair and stacking bracket direct from LG. Price was same as 'big box' stores, plus no additional charge for delivery, setup, and haul away which was great. However, bracket delivered separate, and delivery/setup contractor would not install due to bracket not being included on their truck (company policy). Installation was relatively painless, but would have been ideal if I did not have to do it myself. Delivery contractors were quite friendly, and did leave the necessary hose connections. Washer and dryer are great. Huge capacity in a standard 27 inch width. Very quiet compared to my previous units (non-LG). The doors, hinges, and closures are all solid. Washer will 'final spin' the clothes well on 'Medium' setting. Also, the bottom of the washer tub slopes down towards the back so that water drains better and will hopefully reduce mildew buildup on the door gasket. This was an issue with my last front load washer. With the Dryer, I tried different drying temperatures and landed on the 'High' heat setting as my go-to for standard loads if I want to get drying completed within 50 to 90 minutes. That's fine. I figure medium and low heat will handle smaller, more delicate loads without excessive time or damage to the material. Overall, I really like this washer/dryer pair. They are a definite step up in quality and design from my old set. I'd recommend this LG set.
