[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago when my other LG finally stopped working. Being very impressed with the prior unit, I wanted to get another dryer from the same company. Simple but good. It fits my family’s needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our brand new DLE3400W dries fairly well, but has a very annoying loud rattling/grinding sound from the very first load, even when empty. We have requested service, but have not heard anything from LG in days, so service doesn’t seem very good either. We get tons of marketing material from LG since registering my product though. The beeps and boops are a little over the top, and the finish signal plays a whole quiet song, which is better than a buzzer, but not sure how effective it is as it is hard to hear if you are not close by.

The different settings allow me to adjust the time and heat temp so everything is dried correctly....and the amount of items that can be dried in one load is amazing. I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've just had this dryer with the matching WM3400CW washer for a couple of weeks. So far we like them very much but there's an issue that needs to be mentioned. We have these stacked to fit in our laundry room. They replaced old Whirlpool machines. Due to the larger capacity and size of the LG machines, when they're stacked, the control buttons and digital panel for the dryer is 6 ft. 3 in. from the floor. For us, we are fairly tall, this is a minor inconvenience but for others that are shorter, it may be a major inconvenience.

Has all the features we wanted, is quiet and energy efficient. Just place items in the dryer, set cycle and temperature desired then start and wait for the melodious chimes when cycle is complete

Make sure you pay for a "Licensed LG Tech" to check your unit for possible wearble parts even if you're capable and trained to work on the most advanced Automotibles. LGs Parts warranty only covers you if you pay them for the disassembly, because if you do it, it's tampering. How could a drum, with 4 good support rollers, crack ? Cheap, low quailty materials. It's OK though, they'll try and bribe you with a massive 10% off a new purchase. Get bent. You owe me a drum, send me a drum.

I bought this 3 days ago and am very unhappy. It doesn't do the 1 thing it is supposed to do and that is dry clothes. The machine has almost total control over the selections you are allowed to make and they don't work. I wish I could return this machine but I am stuck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a beautiful machine with a delightful little chime whenever you turn it on. I love the display as it's very easy to read. Every now and then though, I notice my load isn't completely dry, so I have to send it through another drying cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer workers just find for my needs as I don’t have a lot of laundry. It has a large capacity and does its job fairly well. Sometimes with really large blankets and the like, I have to reset it to dry a little longer because the item will still be a little damp. It is one of the least expensive large capacity dryers from a major appliance manufacturer so I think it was a smart buy.
