It uses less product and is prettycompactand fits into a smaller space. We do wish that the doors would swing openwider and there when the dryer doesn't dry your clothes when using energy saver..

I bought the LG Washtower with Turbo Wash and Steam Dryer about a month ago. I previously had a LG front load (side by side) washer and dryer which I loved. This Washtower model even better. It’s quiet, quick, uses less water, and has AI technology and fabric sensors that take care of your clothing. I have limited space and replace an 15 year old apartment size stack unit. The tub was so small that only one sheet would fit per load. The washer had no water level setting and the dryer ran forever. The new Washtower is an amazing appliance. I would recommend to any size family from 1 to ???. My previous LG side by side model was much louder in the spin cycle and seemed to run for a long time. The Washtower makes laundry quick and easy. I’m very satisfied with the value and quality of the LG Washtower. It was money well spent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this unit Aug. 6, 2021 and so far we are very pleased with it. We replaced another stacked set of units from another manufacturer and the old dryer had the controls on the top front which meant that my wife had to stand on a short stool to read the dials. This unit has the controls for both the washer and dryer in the center so that problem has disappeared. We are looking forward to having this unit last for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] fist time use of a "smart" washer/dryer stack. Have yet to learn of all the option combinations available on the touch keys. It's tricky but the steam option does reduce wrinkles in linens. Next move will be an app setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I acquired this lg mechine tower set two weeks ago, one of the best things I like about it is it’s made in the US of A. It has washed and dried at least 100 loads in that amount of time. It has done everything it was supposed to do, l was impressed with the machine’s ability to detect a load imbalance this is awesome, also I really like the addition of blue tooth, thanks guys for thinking ahead. Electronics for this tower set is exactly what is needed . Lg has definitely hit the mark with me. Believe it or not LG has definitely taken a load off my mind.( Pund intended). I bought this laundry tower to replace a 15 year old stacked washer/dryer. Cleanliness seems about the same, but these units are faster. What's really amazing is how quiet they are. Rather than raise our voices, or the volume on the TV, we wind up checking on the machines, to verify that they are operating. They are that quiet.

The washer auto senses what needs to be done, for instance if its a light load requiring less time or heavy towels needing more. There are several options that can be adjusted if you want. The dryer does the same, and seems to dry clothes in less time. I like the little chime it plays at the end when done. Overall great machine!

Plan to buy accessories which go with this unit. I had an LG washer and dryer which this replaced; that I purchased in 2008. I gave away the washer and dryer because it still had life.
