Plan to buy accessories which go with this unit. I had an LG washer and dryer which this replaced; that I purchased in 2008. I gave away the washer and dryer because it still had life.

This unit uses less space than our previous side by side washer and dryer. It cleans better as well. It looks better in the laundry room space. I am looking forward to our electricity bill to see if it is more efficient than our previous side by side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace a 16 year old stack washer/dryer set. I didn't rush into this purchase. I shopped at nearly every appliance outlet in my city and tried to be diligent about comparing features and prices. My main constraint was space. My laundry room is actually a closet so space is tight. Once I had all of my facts and figures I spoke with a friend who does appliance repair. He's a big fan of LG so that sealed the deal for me. This unit is so far above what I was using before that I hardly know where to begin. The control panel is super easy to use, even for someone like me who is mildly technology challenged. I love that it is energy efficient. It runs quietly which is a plus since I had to remove the bi-fold door on my laundry closet in order to get it to fit. I thought that would bother me but it's so sleek and pretty that having it visible is not an issue. A small load of laundry can be done in about 30 minutes. The tubs are big enough to do blankets and quilts. There are a few features that I have not tried yet like the steam refresh option. So far I am really happy with my purchase and look forward to many years of happily doing laundry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had several sets of front loaders over the years. Moved again and left my last set behind. Another brand but I liked it. When I saw this all in one tower I was sold. No squeaking when it spins or dries. Quiet operation and it cleans my clothes really well without an agitator to beat the clothes up. I have to add, you must use a good detergent for best results but love my new washer/dryer. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this set for a few weeks but have used it 4 or 5 times. Both the washer & dryer are currently working well. LOVE the centrally located controls between the units which was the main reason I selected this model. It looks nice, cleans full sized loads, does a good job at sensing dryness and gives good options for types of loads. Thumbs up so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the new LG Washtower - it's quiet, efficient, easy to use and even sings you a tune when it is done washing or drying. It has many different cycles to cover all your washing/drying needs. I especially like that it fits well in my very small laundry room, yet is able to handle large loads. I really wanted something that could wash/dry my queen size comforter, even though I had limited space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a washer dryer stack that didn't look like the unit in my first apartment 40 years ago. I wanted a sleeker design and the space savings that a stackable unit provides. Installing this unit immediately gave me back half my laundry cupboard with full size capacity! It is quieter and doesn't "walk" when the spin cycle is high. The only drawback was the price. There is a premium for space savings apparently, but other than sticker shock, we are happy with the unit at present!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really hope to enjoy the wash tower. Neither LG nor the 3rd Party delivery and setup contractor can tell me where the wash tower is. LG received my payment over 30 days ago. So again, I’d imagine it washes and drys really well. Will follow up soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am generally happy with the dual washer and dry tower. The only small draw-back is that the small amount of water left in the drum after the wash cycle begins to get rather smelly if the machine is not used fir 2 or 3 days. There’s a smell of foul water, so I feel like I need to run the cleaning cycle with the proper detergent pouches every week. Is this your normal experience ? This is my one disappointment. Otherwise, the washing, drying, and cycle choices are great. Aesthetically it’s is beautiful !
