The coffee maker is great, coffee is hot from both brew choices, machine is compact so it doesn't take up a lot of space on the counter. It's simple to use with great options for single brew side. The only negative thing is that I wish it would have a "stay warm feature of for up to 4 hours rather than just 2. Price was great, especially with Black Friday deal - just love it!

I am a both a coffee lover and a minimalist. Before we purchased this machine we had a regular coffee maker and a fancy ( super expensive) single serve espresso-coffee maker that took up a lot of room on the counter, and doubled the cleaning duty. When the old coffee maker finally died I decided to take a chance on this machine given the low cost. This all in one machine satisfies my husband's desire to make a nice pot early in the morning, and my need for a single cup of my own special grind midday for myself. I was prepared to be disappointed, but so far it has been excellent.

My husband was insistent on a pot of coffee. I miss the kuerig. I bought this as a compromise to our dilemma. Actually bought two more for work break rooms. I wish I would have used ours first before the purchase. The single serve side is a mess and often puts grounds in your cup when it does “work”. The only feature that works well is the pot preprogrammed. Single serve is good for hot water by the cup. Still slower than my kuerig. Don’t recommend it’s purchase.

Purchased this for my mom as a gift. She is "older" and the big buttons on the front are awesome--easy to see and easy to use. She wanted a one-cup and a coffee pot and this duo fit the bill. She often has difficulty learning how to use new things (she's smart but nervous) but this was very easy for her to learn how to use. Plus the price! I had shopped around and found this same item elsewhere and was just about to make the purchase when I found it for $30 less at Sam's Club!!! Whoo-hoo!

We think this machine is great. The only complaint is the side where you can brew single cups. We are not that fond of the square piece that can be removed depending on your cup size. If this could somehow lock into place, that would be ideal. It always gets knocked off when removing your smaller size cup. The machine I have at home is the same brand but older model and that piece is metal. You can flip it up or down depending on your cup size and it snaps into place. I never have issues with that one. But this large plastic chunky piece is slightly annoying.

I bought this a month ago and love the dual features. Compared to my last coffee pot, the brew speed is exponentially better! I also love the k-cup feature, with option to use grounds. Word to the wise, the water for the single cup brewing system will empty each time, so only fill to the amount your cup can hold!

Was what i expected, a coffee maker and pod single serve coffee. The things i didn't like: it was very hard to close with the pod inserted, almost to the point of the consumer thinking they are going to break the lever; And the measuring of the single serve is not very adaptable. You have to measure out the cup you are putting your coffee into and that can be a hassle. No reserve water in the single serve.

Used this for about a month. The programming is reliable. The digital commands are easy to use. I've tried two different sized paper filters and am not happy with their fit at all. I'll search for an alternative. I just wish there were a removable fine screen filter. If the paper filter doesn't nest in it perfectly then you run the risk of having a mess on your hands. The water tank is a bit difficult to pour into if you have to place your coffee maker under an overhung cabinet. It is in the back of the unit and if under an overhung cabinet it is difficult to open the top lid completely. The single serving feature is very convenient. Oh yes - one more thing - even if I preheat my mug, the coffee doesn't come out as hot as other machines offer. I gave it 4 stars because it does offer the single serve feature and my observations may very well have been nit-picking! I'm still looking for the perfect coffee maker!

I bought this about a month ago to replace my Kuerig. It’s easy to use and gives the flexibility I was looking for. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star review is that you have to add water every time you want to make a cup. This is annoying when you have cupboards above...you have to pull it out every time.

I wasn’t ready to give up on having the option to make a full pot of coffee and the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew has allowed me to keep the full pot and add the one cup function for our fast on the go mornings. I love that all of the water gets used each time on the single serve side so each cup is truly fresh! Other reviews have said that grounds have ended up in their single serve side and so far I have had no problems with that. All of the parts are easy to clean and the flex brew is very user friendly!! A great product at a great price!!
