The capacity is better than expected, and the speed this setup runs through laundry is really helpful to keep the clothes from piling up. If you aren't very handy, I would opt for the paid install. Otherwise, very satisfied with the Washtower.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate it this is the worst washing machine ever now I specify washing machine the dryer is pretty good but the washing machine does not clean your clothes I don't know your clothes stink like wet dog and when you open the front loader there is every type of particle that did not go down the drain around the Rubber seal whether it be paper in your pocket or dog hair or grass it doesn't matter your stuck cleaning the rubber every time you do a load and your clothes smell no matter what you do even if you put additives in this is the worst washing machine I've ever owned and unfortunately it is too late for me to return it

The Bluetooth technology features that alert us to when a load is finished, has made it much more efficient for us to complete the clothes. So happy we have this washer/dryer unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pleased with this washer. I was afraid it would be loud as some reviews said, but it is not. It's much quieter than my old washer. And I'm pleased with the level of cleanliness of the clothes. Similarly pleased with the dryer. It fully dries when I want it to unlike my old dryer. The only thing I'm not 100% pleased with is that part of the reason I got the washtower was to take advantage of the extra cycles they said were available when you hook it up to your wifi. But out here in the country, my internet is so poor, that I can't hook the washtower up to wifi at all. So I am not able to access the extra cycles and option variables that I wanted to. The cycles and options it comes with are okay, but I did want some more flexibility than what they offer. Another negative is that the dryer electric cord wasn't long enough to install it where I had intended on the other wall of the laundry 'room' (back entry way). The other negative is that the doors on the washer and dryer are not able to be switched to open from the other side, so it's a pain to get in and out of my back door now when the washer needs to be open to air out after a load.

As with my previous LG washer/dryer, this stack looks great (especially the charcoal color) and works great. It is quiet and gets everything clean even on speed wash cycles! I like this as I get the wash done quickly! It works so well that I rarely have to use a long cycle! Tip, I do leave the door wide open for a day after use. Then I close it further but never all the way to make sure the drum dries to avoid the mold that is common with front loaders.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a ~tiny~ laundry room and in a quest to get more space we thought this wash tower would be great and we were so right. All of the controls are in the middle panel meaning I don’t have to reach to the heavens to turn on the dryer, it has so many settings so you can customize it to anything you are washing, the chime at the end is adorable, and did I mention it cleans and dries like a champ? I was worried I was going to get more space in the room and less in the actual appliance but I can fit all of my king sized sheets and duvets and quilts in there with ease. Plus it has an app that lets you name your tower and will notify you when the cycles have finished and even allow you to remotely start your loads! Don’t mind me, just living in the future over here. I will say that the first official load I did there was a slight “new washer smell” associated with it but that has quickly gone away so it is not an issue.

But most of all the quietness compared to our old stacked system is the most appreciated. No complaints with the unit so far. However, the user guide portion of the installation and user guide could use some improvement.in explaining the ThinQ features and how to program manual settings rather than using the pre-programmed settings.

I received delivery a few weeks ago. Still figuring it out, but so far so good. Not use to the washer being so low but I am sure I will get use to it. Wish I could change the end of washer/dryer tones - not a fan. It washes and dries just as it should. It’s very sleek and a nice new addition to my laundry room.

My LG washer dryer not only looks beautiful (I removed the doors to my laundry area so you can see them all the time) and does a fantastic job cleaning my clothes, but it plays music instead of an obnoxious buzzer making doing laundry a lot more FUN!
