I called a chimney sweep out to clean my ductwork and he said it was really bad and could have started a fire. Thank you LG!

Steam option on this washer - This set is close to a bedroom... so it was really important to get this whisper quiet set... it has all the options anyone could every want. It looks great and is sleek looking right where it is at. The clothes are so clean and fresh - well rinsed ! I would recommend this to anyone who has high expectations from their purchases and want to get their moneys worth. Thank you LG. We are looking forward to many many years of use !!

I had a big heavy duty washer and dryer before I bought the wash tower and never expected it to do a better job, but in spite of it's good looks and more appropriate size, it outperforms my huge ugly old washer and dryer. I also received excellent support thru the website.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the stack for several weeks now. Quiet, efficient, easy to use, large capacity, loads of very smart settings. Installed quickly and easily. My laundry is cleaner than it has been is a long time. I have owned a front load system before but this stackable is far superior.

It's a good machine. Washes and dries more than you think it will. Inside the rubber boot around the washer opening retains water, so I suggest using a towel to wipe it dry all the way around to prevent mildew. I always keep the washer door slightly open, too. Make sure you get all the parts that come with the machine. I was missing the foot pads, the laundry hose bracket, and the wrench to adjust the legs.

I also like that there is an alarm when the washer and the dryer are finished. I also like the fact that the controls for the washer and the dryer are in the middle of the two appliances so that I don't have to reach up to the top of the dryer to turn it on.

When it was delivered, the delivery men couldn't install it to my water heater because of a liability on their end, which is understandable but I felt they could have been kinder in their demeanor. They came in with a "no" attitude instead of a "okay, let's figure this out" and what can we offer like the pipe parts etc. to at least help with the process of setting it up on my end. I am finding that I need to run the machine a little bit longer than I'm used to to really get my clothes clean. I'm not sure if this is due to it being attached to a water heater though. I like the overall look of the machines, they're stable, and do clean well. I love how advanced we've gotten with washing machines and it does help that the settings from the washer are transferred to the dryer. I want to read the manual to see if there are any settings I am missing out on, hopefully it has a timed wash/dry; that would be helpful. I didn't see it on the screen.

I bought this a few weeks ago and as right now I can say that this is the best purchase I’ve ever made! This washer and dryer have so much space, I’m able to make a cycle for my comforter and big amount of clothes. For me it feels like I did an investment. I do recommend this washer and dryer combo!!!

Have used my new washtower for a month now, love it more with each use! It is a beautiful appliance and performs superbly. Very little noise. My last set sounded like a B52 taking off. This set is so quiet, and does such a good job. Absolutely love it.
