Thank you for your inquiry. The battery is to be installed by removing the ignition module cap (B18) and installing positive side (+) out as shown in step 3 of the assembly instructions (page 14 of your user manual.) For assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to customer care by phone or email at: 1-833-454-0864 or support@proseriesbbq.com Hope this helps!

Rusty

Doesn’t get hot enough. Surface rusted overnight.

Thank you for your review! Rust spots on the griddle indicate that the seasoning has worn off and needs to be reapplied. Remember, seasoning is necessary before and after every use to improve cooking performance, create a non-stick surface, prevent moisture damage, and extend the griddle's lifespan. Here’s a link to a video on how to season your griddle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIDadWvHmk&list=PLt_pmryXkYnFvil6ed5mqpeArVDgnkNdP&index=19 If you're experiencing heating issues, the flow limiting device in your regulator may have activated. To reset it, follow the procedure on page 9 of your user manual. To avoid activating this safety feature going forward, always perform the correct lighting and shut down procedures. Most importantly, open your LP cylinder shut off valve SLOWLY before starting your BBQ. If you turn the LP cylinder valve too quickly, the flow limiting feature in the regulator can sometimes think there is a leak in the fuel line and restrict the amount of fuel to the burner as a safety precaution. Here’s a video on how to perform the reset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTRJ1q-xCaU For any questions, feel free to contact customer care at 1-833-454-0864 or support@proseriesbbq.com.

Good table top grill.

Haven’t used this grill yet but it looks great on my patio. Instructions are easy to follow.

Buy a better cover

Don’t get fooled by the included cover. Leaks like a sieve. If you hold it up to the light there are numerous pin holes in it. I bought a better cover and it works!

What garbage.

Any wind and it goes out. Is it not supposed to be outdoors? Piece of garbage.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. It sounds like the flow limiting device in the regulator has been activated. To correct, please visit page 9 of your user manual. For your convenience, I've included a link to a step-by-step video for how to reset this feature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTRJ1q-xCaU&list=PLt_pmryXkYnFvil6ed5mqpeArVDgnkNdP&index=14To avoid activating this safety feature going forward, always perform the correct lighting and shut down procedures.
