Good table top grill.

Haven’t used this grill yet but it looks great on my patio. Instructions are easy to follow.

Thank you for your review! Rust spots on the griddle indicate that the seasoning has worn off and needs to be reapplied. Remember, seasoning is necessary before and after every use to improve cooking performance, create a non-stick surface, prevent moisture damage, and extend the griddle's lifespan. Here’s a link to a video on how to season your griddle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIDadWvHmk&list=PLt_pmryXkYnFvil6ed5mqpeArVDgnkNdP&index=19 If you're experiencing heating issues, the flow limiting device in your regulator may have activated. To reset it, follow the procedure on page 9 of your user manual. To avoid activating this safety feature going forward, always perform the correct lighting and shut down procedures. Most importantly, open your LP cylinder shut off valve SLOWLY before starting your BBQ. If you turn the LP cylinder valve too quickly, the flow limiting feature in the regulator can sometimes think there is a leak in the fuel line and restrict the amount of fuel to the burner as a safety precaution. Here’s a video on how to perform the reset: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTRJ1q-xCaU For any questions, feel free to contact customer care at 1-833-454-0864 or support@proseriesbbq.com.

Rusted in packaging

Griddle came rusted in the packaging but after some cleaning and 5 coats of seasoning, we are in business. Will update if rusting is an issue in the future.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. The appearance of rust spots on the griddle top, is indication that the protective seasoning has worn off and must be repeated. Unfortunately, seasoning is NOT a single application. Seasoning your griddle top is required before and after EVERY cook. Seasoning your griddle top improves the cooking performance, creates a non-stick surface, prevents damage, and deterioration due to moisture, and extends the life of your griddle. For your convenience, I've included a link below to a step-by-step instructional video for how to season your griddle once the rust has been lifted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIDadWvHmk&list=PLt_pmryXkYnFvil6ed5mqpeArVDgnkNdP&index=19 Hope this helps!
