Great purchase

This griddle had a sale price that I couldn’t pass on. The set up was easy, and seasoning the cook surface was a breeze. My first cook was burgers for my work crew. This griddle held 15 regular sized hamburgers with no problems. The griddle held its heat evenly, and the grease trap was adequate for the cook. Perfect for tailgating or gatherings. Cleanup is easy, and it’s not difficult to store. I recommend this griddle.

Great for a starter or small groups/families

Great for a starter or small groups. I got this on a spectacular clearance deal of over 50% off. That being said, I would still recommend it for the $100 price range it normally costs. I got the 22" griddle to see if an outdoor griddle would be something that I would actually use, ornif it would just be a fad. It has turned out to be one of the best culinary purchases that I have ever made. It is just the right size for my wife and I to have a meal plus leftovers for a couple of lunches each or even more. Plus it doesn't use much propane since it is small when compared to the big boy griddles. I would definitely recommend this to anyone on the fence about getting an outdoor griddle. It's more affordable than the bigger sizes, has less of a learning curve to use, and will still make restaurant quality foods once you get the hang of it. I worked in restaurants for 14 years before I changed career paths, and this has been the closest tool that I have been able to find that allows me to cook those diner type foods that I could never get right on my stove top. I will say that this isn't going to be the griddle that you try to use zone cooking on. There's not really enough space for heat to dissipate before getting to the other side. Also, the center is what some would call a "hot spot," but I think that's pretty typical of most of these noncommercial griddles due to the thinness of the cook top compared to the commercial one's. Just follow the directions for use and treat it like it's cast iron, and you'll be fine.

Just right!

I wanted a propane griddle that was the right size and portable. The 20lb propane tank adapter hose was convenient. But had to learn from trial and error. When using any tank larger than the disposable cans, barely crack open the the tank valve then light the grill. Anything more than that and it overwhelms the regulator and you get minimal flame.

Great portability!

We use it for travel grilling and for making tacos for our family gatherings. Cooks well and evenly distributed heat. We hook it to a regular size propane tank versus the mini ones sold for this unit.

Great for camping

This is a great stove for camping, while I enjoy my Coleman stove, this is a lot easier to make multiple items at once. The adjustable top and grease trap are great features.

Griddle is good. Lack of accessories not so much

The griddle is solidly built. It was easy to season and easy to clean. It came with a soft cover but I wanted a hard cover. I had to order a Blackstone hard cover because Members Mark doesn't have one. The Blackstone lid for their 22" griddle fits just fine in case anyone else wants one. I have not been able to find disposable waste cups for the grease catcher anywhere.

Perfect size for two.

It’s perfect for the two of us. Works great and I’ve got it seasoned well. Pretty simple process. It’s a great value at $100.

It's a great and solid competitor for BlackStone.

Very nice option for breakfast for two, or cooking out and camping. I use mine specifically for breakfast items only. Take your time and SEASON your top about 5-10 times using corn oil or canola, wipe clean, cool, repeat. It'll take about a whole pound of propane to properly season it for first-use. If you keep it clean and scrape, and heat season right after use, you won't have to worry about reseasoning it EVER. Clean as you go like a pro. This is a lil' chunker, but not too heavy. Be sure if you do use it for camping, try to facilitate a transport box for it so you won't have to worry about packing it on top or under things. Depending on room inside, you can keep your utinsils and such inside as well. I love the fact not only does it take the smaller cylinders, but comes with the whip for the regular propane canisters as well. Says it comes pre-seasoned...but like I said to get it right...season it a few times and use LONG tongs.

Uneven flames

It set up easily but I'm having an issue with inconsistent flames. Have yellow flames up front with lower blue flames in the back. Might be an issue with the regulator still troubleshooting before i make any phone calls.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear about your uneven/inconsistent flames. To troubleshoot:1. Remove the griddle top and place it on a flat surface with it right side up.2. Remove screws to free the carry over tube.3. Remove screws to free the burners. Use WD40 and screw driver to make this removal easier.4. Remove burners.5. Use a flexible venturi brush to clean the interior of the burners. Ensure you enter the burner far enough to remove any spider webs and nests that may be present.5. Use a wire or paper clip to clean burner port holes. Do not use anything that can damage or enlarge port holes.6. Brush away any rust or corrosion from the burners surface, and wipe clean with a damp cloth. Dry the burners.7. Re-install the burners. Ensure that the burners are properly seated on the valve gas jet before assembling hardware.Once the burners have been cleaned, reassemble and perform a leak test. Should you have any questions or require assistance, don't hesitate to reach out to customer care by phone or email at: 1-833-454-0864 or support@proseriesbbq.com. Hope this helps!
