[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using our new drier for 21/2 weeks now and enjoying it over our 18 year old model. Choice’s for different clothes is the big difference, it wii help preserve items with elastic and clothes in general allowing lower haet options.

Pros: They look nice. They clean/dry well and are quiet. Cons: Drum light only comes on when you hit the power button, not when opening the doors. Light button only works during a load. Front panel wording is off-white, not backlit & hard to see. Dial starts off on “Normal” but can’t choose options, you have to turn it again to "Normal (if using that setting) to be able to adjust water temp, spin, etc. Settings don’t save, you have to adjust for every load, even if you same loads back to back. I WOULD NOT BUY THESE AGAIN!

My kid who is 8 year old loves washers & dryers. So he did watch lot of videos on YouTube and suggested us to buy LG washer & dryers. We did buy those and are very happy with the performance of them. We can connect them to wifi and monitor when it is done. Works great and no complaints so far.

The size and the fact that it dries are pretty much the best things about it. There are several frustrations, though, that keep me from recommending it. - Even when set to max dry, it often doesn't get my clothes dried all the way. I have to follow up with a timed cycle. - The options for the pre-programmed and downloadable cycles are pointlessly limited. Sometimes you can change the temp, sometimes not; sometimes you can change the dry level, sometimes not, etc. This would be OK except... - There is no way to create and save your own cycle. I usually dry my clothes on medium low heat, max dry level, wrinkle care on. There is no way for me to preset this. Even my old "dumb" dryer would keep the previous settings until I changed them. It seems like a small thing, but a dryer with this much tech built in should at least let me keep my settings. - There's no drying rack to air dry without tumbling. Small thing, but it is good to have and should be included with a dryer at this price. I can't recommend this dryer. Unless you really need the size and can't find anything else, I would keep looking.
