I wish the remote was more like the old TVs. Maybe it has to do with my age and the familiarity of the old one. One wish is that the TV would automatically regulate the sound. The sound issue has only gotten worse. Not caused by Samsung I’m sure but program providers.
Great TV minus the remote.

The only reason it isn't 5 stars is difficulty with my replacement universal remote (not a Samsung brand). I have two Samsung TVs and the remote will control both TVs at the same time. I can't find a way to have it only control the original TV and not this one. For brand loyalty, seems like this is something a person should be able to do.

You have to scroll slowly & it still skips 2-5 channels @ once. I hope a replacement remote might not skip channels. There is no time displayed. In settings, it shows time & date, but not on the screen, where needed. These are random, small annoyances, but if they are already so prevalent & happen within 24 hrs, I will return it for another brand, especially if it turns ...

When i respond it buffers and I have to go to another app in order to stop the buffering. It also loses close captioning at least once per day.

We use our local channels most of the time. The picture is very good and clear. We really like the 50" size. It's great to watch Netflix movies. Our Internet takes a while to load the menus, but we live in a rural area.

I was of the thought that a TV is a TV. Just has to turn on and work. I was wrong! While this is not the top of the line or the most expensive for Samsung…the price is right and the TV is wow! The picture quality and responsiveness is amazing. I have a small living room so the sound is great, especially with the sound amplifier feature. I love that all the apps are on the Home Screen, making them easy to find and use. The app for controlling the TV with my phone is user friendly and convenient. In short, I recommend this to anyone who is starting to discover the value of a great TV.

The older Samsung didn't have the digital optic sound output that I needed. So I purchased this Samsung because it did have it. To my surprised some people were saying the brightness was not bright, the frame per second was jittery, and the blacks were not black enough. I did not find this to be the case at all. It was very bright, the blacks were normal to me and the sports were just fine does wise. I'm very happy with this TV. If I need to upgrade another TV soon, I'll get this exact same one.

Unfortunately this Samsung does not have a TP link and we had to buy another cable for him to use his hearing aids. Now it only switches between sound and anode for him to use his hearing aids and then others Cannot hear. This was very disappointing!
