Customer reviews for SAMSUNG 55” Class Q7FD Series 4K QLED Smart TV forAnother solid product from Samsung
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used mainly for streaming shows or playing video games. Samsung never disappoints with their sleek designs and highly functional utilities that work seamlessly with other Samsung devices. The picture is crisp, and the design flawlessly compliments any space that you decide to put it. If you want a smart TV that performs exactly as intended (and throws in a little extra) then this is a great option.
This TV was a huge upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly use this for streaming tv shows but occasionally use it for my PS5. The picture quality is fantastic and it runs quickly. The sound is good and I love the ease of use and the size of the screen. Worth every penny.
Good picture, but...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We set up the Samsung television, but we are unable to get the remote to change the channels. We have Comcast for our cable and the Comcast remote works well on everything except changing the volume. So we have to use both remotes to watch TV. I have been unable to pair the sound bar with the TV also. Maybe eventually it will all come together?
Hello, Thanks for your review. To change the channel using your SolarCell Remote, locate the thin rocker button just below the Play/Pause key and above the Prime Video shortcut. Push up (^) to go up one channel or push down (v) to go to the next channel. Just below the Back button and above the Netflix hotkey, you’ll find a thin rocker-style button with a (+) on top and a (–) below. Push up on this button to raise the volume, or down to lower it. To help you get the most from your TV and remote functions, you can download the full e-Manual and more by visiting Samsung’s website then navigating to: Support > Manual & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select your TV model to view or download the available guides. The e-Manual & Remote Control Guide are also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides Learn TV Remote is another feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. When enabled, pressing any button (except the Power button, which will still turn off the TV) will prompt the TV to announce the button’s name and its purpose – without affecting TV operation. This teaching mode is especially useful for users who are visually impaired or new to Samsung remotes. To enable this feature, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, simply press the Return key twice. If you’d like more assistance with this feature, please reach Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, available 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Loading Apps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has taken me almost 2 months to finally view Spectrum on this TV. Why do you make it so difficult to load apps? Why do I have to Google how to do it and Samsung doesn't have a booklet explaining the most important thing? I've had 2 computer techs who couldn't get the app loaded. Today I finally had time to play with the TV and got it loaded! Yay me!!
MarshaG, We're sorry to hear of this. Please note that the Spectrum app has been available to install on 2025 Samsung TVs as of 4/25. To help you get the most from your TV, you can download the full e-Manual and more by visiting Samsung’s website then navigating to: Support > Manual & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select your Q7F TV model to view or download the available guides. The e-Manual and Remote Control Guide are also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides If you need additional help, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Great 65" TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great TV although getting my old Panasonic sound system to connect was a bit of a challenge. The sound system has RCA cable inputs while the TV does not have RCA output. Purchased several blue tooth to RCA converts which were not acceptable. Finally found one that was USB powered and cabled to the Panasonic and provided surround sound.
great picture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our Samsung TV for daily viewing of our shows and the picture is great- we purchased the Samsung TV since our other TV was ten years old and unable to obtain some of the streaming services on older TV - great value and TV
Solid 3.5-4 star tv
3.5-4 star tv The upgraded tizen ui is really good and the new ai processor does a pretty decent job speed wise. The tv has a decent snap to it. The WiFi connection is strong and soundbars work really well via Bluetooth connection. Whats crazy is Apps and videos load a little bit faster than the a higher end qled tv I own. The Ai features for this year are ok I guess. If your into learning a bit more about what your watching than the ai will definitely be a treat for you. Picture wise, the ai implementation doesn’t really do much. It doesn’t seem to do much for up scaling or processing the image. The color booster pro is the only ai feature I found to be useful. It helped the picture pop quite a bit more than out of the box. It did take some color adjustment though. The red 2point level did need to be turned down a bit though when the booster was on. Sdr brightness and quality is pretty good overal. I really do enjoy the picture in sdr. Nice color, brightness and the motion also looks fine with minimal blur and judder. HDR is where the tv takes a pretty huge dive unfortunately. The screen gets way too dark and there’s no way to turn it up without enabling the contrast enhanced on high. The resolution is fine in hdr, good detail in the image but again just way too dark with no workaround. It’s sad because the tv is somehow dimmer than my 2 year old 70” crystal uhd tv I have in my living room. That being the most basic tv released that year and a non qled tv. This tv is A solid 3.5-4 star tv if you can get it at a discounted price.
Love it ❤️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is amazing in picture, quality, and sound! I wouldn't change it for any other TV! I will always get a Samsung TV! The connection for my Xbox and Playstation were so easy with easy button find and streaming services had the quick buttons!
To watch nature and view beaches
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nature’s BeautyI’ve been using my older Samsung 4K TV for a while now, and I must say, its clarity is nothing short of impressive for a model that’s not the latest on the market. The 4K resolution delivers crisp, vibrant visuals that make every scene pop with detail, especially when watching nature documentaries or scenic beach content. The standout feature of this TV is how it brings nature to life. Watching shows about wildlife or serene landscapes feels immersive, with lush forests, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant sunsets rendered in stunning detail. The colors are rich yet natural, and the sharpness ensures you can see every blade of grass or ripple in the ocean. I recently watched a nature documentary about coral reefs, and the way the TV captured the vivid blues and intricate patterns of marine life felt like I was diving into the ocean myself. The best function, hands-down, is its ability to showcase beautiful beaches on screen. Whether it’s a travel show exploring tropical coastlines or a relaxing beach screensaver, the Samsung 4K TV makes every wave and grain of sand look breathtakingly real. The high dynamic range (HDR) support enhances the contrast between the golden sands, turquoise waters, and bright skies, creating a near-photographic experience. It’s the perfect escape for those moments when you want to feel like you’re on a beach vacation without leaving your living room. While it may lack some of the bells and whistles of newer models, like advanced AI
This model is a must-have in your home
