I bought this about 18 months ago for my 30 amp camper. Although not powerful enough to run my A/C it worked great on everything else. Always started easily and I never had any problems with it. Of course, I followed the instructions for set-up and changed the oil as required. I recently used the SUA2300i when my home power went out. It started on the second pull in below freezing conditions. Ran 2 freezers, lights, and my camper heating system plus all electronics (TV, DVD, computer) for 4 days straight in freezing temperatures. Never shut it down, just added ethanol free gas every 8-10 hours. Runs quieter than most.

So far we have bought 6 of these for our workplace, and 2 of those times the machines were non-functional, 1 of them had a leaking gas cap, and 1 of them straight up stopped working after a year (even with careful maintenance). DONT BUY THESE! You’re better off with a more well known brand. You’ll literally spend less money on a more expensive generator than with these cheap toys.

I have owned this for almost two years. Been through two hurricanes and several power outages. This little trooper is still kicking strong. I'm a 73 yr. old 5ft granny and have no problems with starting or maintaining. I use non-ethanol gas only, using a gas stabilizer if it sits too long. Be sure to check oil and plug reg. I can power a 22cf refrigerator, 18cf freezer, 8000 btu ac unit, 55" tv, and a blue ray. With that being said DON'T plug everything in at once. Let each device stabilize first. P.S. Yes, they advise draining gas when not in use, but I live in a very rural area and we loss power a lot, so gas does not set in it long enough to be a concern.

This is my 5th portable generator/inverter. I've owned a Honda EU-1000, Yamaha 2400is, a Champion 4000w, and an A-i Power 1600W Running / 2000W Peak Gasoline Powered Inverter Generator. Both of my A-i Power generators are the best bang for my buck. They're lightweight, reliable, quiet and priced right. This new one raises the bar, by getting more power out of a small package and including new features, like wheels, a telescoping handle and an hour meter / voltmeter and a fuel gauge. Started first pull and ran smoothly. Another nice touch and extra value is the included parallel cable (with the other guys, the parallel cable is an expensive option). I haven't tried the parallel function yet, but just having this generator in my garage gives me peace of mind.

Bought to save a little money instead of using my big generator for RV in the woods. Did not realize how much it would run and hoped it would run overnight but didn't think it would. It ran fridge, my cpap, lights, tv and more with gas to spare. It even ran coffee pot and electric water heater. Used 3 gallons of gas in time I would usually use 15. Goad I made this purchase. May get one for home. Would definitely recommend.

We had a power outage and we weren't sure how long it was going to last. This little unit ran 6 hours straight and had 0 hick-ups. We powered our Fridge, deep freeze, fan, and lamp with it all night. I'm sure we could have plugged in a couple of more items. I love the handle wheel feature this unit has over the other ones that you just have to carry. It was pretty quiet while running on high idle. Its really quiet if you can run it on low idle. Overall I'm very pleased with this unit.

I had been using another A-iPower generator with a Yamaha engine that is rated at 1600 watts and 2000 watts maximum, bought from the other Warehouse store. This unit has a no name engine, and about the same engine size as the Yamaha, and yet it puts out more power and it is noticeably quieter and more fuel efficient too. Did they do it with better electronics, squeezing more power and fuel economy from a similar sized engine, and lowering the nose level at the same time? Regardless of how they did it, I like the improvements. I liked this more powerful unit so much I returned the other one with the Yamaha engine for a refund. With this unit, I get about 8-9 run time with a full tank (1.1 gallons), with a total energy consumption of about 500-600 watts. With two of these hooked up in parallel, I have enough power to mow the lawn using an electric mower or to run the washing machine.

Good small inverter generator. It pulls my A/C in my class b RV just fine. It says it will pull a 1 hp air compressor but wouldn't mine. It did at first then when pressure would drop and it tried to come back on the gen went into overload mode. I bought it more for my RV so I'm satisfied with it. I would have gave it 5 stars if it had a bigger gas tank.
