I first bought this last June for Father's Day. It's has a fantastic aroma. I will continue to enjoy this bourbon. This bourbon doesn't bite it nibbles. It's delicious!

Wasn't much of a scotch or bourbon drinker ever . Now that I'm 60 I'm enjoying it . Have several bottles and so far my Basil Haden's is my favorite . Truly enjoy it with every sip

Got this bottle as a birthday gift, so I was definitely excited to try it for the first time! Told my friend who bought it for me that I'd wait to drink it with him. After cracking it open and taking my first sip, I'm sorry to admit, he missed out! Definitely a smooth tasting bourbon, great for sipping neat, like I prefer bourbon. Had always heard great things about it, and I definitely was not disappointed! Will definitely add another bottle to my collection.

BASIL HAYDEN was one of the first bourbons i have had that wasn't out of the entry and super cheep whiskys. i was struck with a light and awesome drink and love it to this day ... if you are looking for a bottle to get someone into loving bourbon and want them to have a great entry mid level quality bourbon this is the perfect choice. its an extremely easy drinker and mild sweet finish that is amazing .. nose - is fruity slight corn and pepper spice / taste - touch of oak fruity slight sweet and vanilla with light burn and very smooth Finnish... one of my favorite to this day and will be a regular stock in my home bar for a great time to come.. I have tried many bourbons from price points of $30. to $200. a bottle but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at the fine flavors of this bourbon. This was the first bourbon I tasted when I decided to go down the whiskey rabbit hole. This is a nice sweet bourbon, as soon as it hits your tongue its a burst of spice, little burn , and a beautiful honey finish. Cant wait for the 10 year to release again!
