Basil Hayden is my favorite bourbon at its price point! I like it as a sipping drink, but I also love to throw it in a cocktail, because I think it’s much smoother than other whisky around its quality, without the harsh burn. The finishing flavor is a little sweet and the bottle is cute, too.

Basil Hayden is my favorite whiskey to make an Old Fashioned with, because it’s sweet by nature with a little spice, so you can lighten up on the sugar added. I love to experiment with different recipes, and the cranberry is my favorite yet.

This is a super smooth and easy to sip. Light notes of vanilla, honey, and a little spice at the end. It’s mellow and doent have a that strong burn feeling. A bit pricy but worth it.

I was in the store the day before the purchase and there was no basil Hayden displayed. We returned to get a cake and I checked it again just to make sure there is none displayed and there it was. So Hayden has a very good smooth no drink.

This is a very Good Mid-Rang Bourbon. You can't beat the price and it finishes more like a 60.00 bottle. I always have one at home.
