I picked up a bottle of Basil Hayden while looking at some whiskeys. Cracked it open and was surprised by the smoothness. I know some bourbon drinkers have different opinions but this is a remarkably smooth bourbon and one of my new favorites

I tried Basil Hayden while doing a tour of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail recently and it has become one of my favorite Bourbons. If you like a smooth and favorable bourbon you should try it. I tried a lot of more expensive bourbons while on this trip but BH is in the top two of the trip.

An old friend and fellow enjoyer of bourbon gave me a bottle of the dark rye. He told me it was special and he was right! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. I've been regularly buying it again and again. This is what old friends are for and I'm thinking Basel Hayden's bourbons are going to become old friends of mine too.

Watching ' House of Cards' for the 3rd time and picked up on Doug Stamper ordering something called 'Basil Hayden' in a dive bar. The bartender chuckles and says, "you're kidding me right?" That's when I knew I had to buy a bottle. Tastes like heaven and rivals my best single malt scotch!

I'm always a WoodFord Manhattan guy but went to a tasting dinner at Main Street wine bar in Pennsylvania and was enjoying the different varieties. Brought home a bottle and I am thoroughly enjoying my Manhattans. I love the spicy finish that lingers after a good sip! I'll definitely be getting more and exploring the whole line. Eric

I was asked by my brother to pick a bottle of Basil Hayden's for a weekend get together, On arriving to his home, I was greeted to a glass of the smoothest tasting bourbon whiskey, I will be sure to have Basil Hatden's at my next celebration to share with good friends

I just enjoyed my first ever sip of Basil Hayden at wonderful establishment in Morton WA (Willow Creek) Where thankfully their bartender recommended and I can totally see why...it's most definitely one of the most smooth and flavorful whiskey I've ever enjoyed, well done, Cheers!!

Out with friends at a steak house in Boston, the thought of having a bourbon before dinner occurred to me and in that moment I rediscovered a drink that I had not enjoyed in quite some time. Basil Hayden made it the perfect combination! With its smooth oak and fruity finish and dark amber hues, this is truly a well refined bourbon whiskey to be celebrated.. Now stocked up at home, the Basil Hayden-old fashioned is the drink offered to friends when hosting any event.
