Hello! Your hose might have had the excess flow device activated accidentally by the propane tank. The excess flow device is a safety device that exists in the large brass fitting that screws into the propane tank that will prevent or restrict gas from flowing out of a tank and through the hose in the event of a leak or tear in the hose. This device will sometimes become activated by accident when we open the valve on a propane tank too quickly, or a propane tank has been filled too much. Try disconnecting the brass fitting from the propane tank, reconnecting it to the tank, and then opening the tank valve knob very slowly to restore proper gas flow to the heater. Have a great day!
