With the anti-glare screen on the Samsung, there is no glare, reflection, or external visible light on the screen anywhere. I can sit in any chair in the room and still have a wonderful viewing experience.

Despite its giant 85-inch size, the physical installation went incredibly smoothly. The sleek, thin metal backing gives it a very premium, modern look on the wall with minimal borders around the screen.Picture Quality & Performance:For an entry-level budget TV, the picture quality is highly impressive. It uses a panel that delivers deep, rich blacks instead of a washed-out gray, making it look great during movie nights in a darker room. The light and color are distributed very evenly across the screen with solid uniformity. Another major highlight is the upscaling engine; it takes standard cable channels and older streaming content and sharpens them perfectly so they don't look blurry on such a large screen.Things to Keep in Mind:It is a budget-friendly model, so there are a couple of trade-offs. The peak brightness doesn't get piercingly high for HDR content, and it is locked at a 60Hz refresh rate, meaning it won't support ultra-smooth 120Hz gaming for next-gen consoles. Also, the built-in speakers are okay for everyday watching, but because the TV is so thin, I highly recommend adding an HDMI soundbar down the road to match the massive picture.The Verdict:If you want a giant, beautiful television for sports, movies, and everyday streaming without breaking the bank, this is a phenomenal value. The TV is instantaneously responsive to the remote. I use a flat antenna and with one or two exceptions the picture is wonderful. The only nit I have is still after 6 months trying to figure out how to turn the TV on the the last station I watched. I also am still a bit confused by the Samsung TV Plus. That said it's a great TV. Simple to set up.

It does exactly what a television is supposed to do, which is be a rectangle that turns on and off. The absolute best part about it is how it looks hanging on my wall. It just sits there, looking flat and spectacular, completely changing the vibe of the entire room. When people walk in, they say, "Wow, look at that thing on the wall." It is just basic, reliable stuff, and I could not be happier with my choice. Highly recommend it to anyone who likes rectangles.

Sound quality is good, though obviously would be better if I added a soundbar. Choice of wallpaper gives it the option to make the device into a quasi-decor peice in my tiny apartment! The color, vibrancy, brightness, contrast, and upscaling is fantastic. Responsiveness can be a little slow, but it could be a wifi issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's too darn complicated! Every time I turn it on, I get the homepage, and have to go through various steps to get to my cable channels. I wish I could program the TV to automatically go to where I want it to when I turn it on. If there is already a way to do this, it's not intuitive enough for an average consumer to figure it out. It also feels like it takes different steps each time I turn on the TV to get to where I want to be. I'll commit to memory what to do, and the next time, that doesn't work, and I have to figure everything out again. It may be considered a "smart TV" because of the supposed easy connection to subscribed channels, but it's not an easy connection for me, and that's all that I care about! Either simplify the homepage or develop more user-friendly instructions on how to set it up.
