My face seems to soak it up well without irritation. I love the smell it has, kind of perfumy, but not over-powering. It feel high-end at a low-end price. My only change would be maybe reduce or eliminate the fragrance (since it may cause irritation for some people) and fore-go the mica powder. I'm not sure why it needs to shimmer if it's got all the good stuff to make your skin glow naturally!

I've sensitive dry skin and it's really difficult for me to find a product with vitamin C which doesn't cause irritation. This serum accomplished that perfectly.
