I purchased this combo machine this week. The unit generally works well, but there are some easy-to-implement improvements that Samsung could make to the software settings. Hopefully they read this review! 1) There are many different cycles, and some of them offer a variety of settings, but there should be greater customization. For example, each cycle only allows for only one Temperature setting. For Bedding, this is "High", but my bedding's care instructions are for low temps only! My work-around is to use "Wash only" as Bedding, and "Dry only" as Delicates. Alas, it defeats the purpose of an all-in-one machine if you have to come back between washing and drying. 2) Most of the cycles have some degree of customization built in, such as changing temperatures or soil levels. I wish you could customize which of these was chosen by default, however. Or perhaps create and define your own cycles. I'm finding that I need every load to be on the "More" dryness level, so they don't come out damp. I wish I could set that as a toggle so that it would remember it, but instead, I must manually override the "Normal" dryness level on every load I run. 3) The Timed Dry works only in 10-minute increments. Why not let me run it for 15 minutes? Or even for 17 minutes, if that's what I want? 4) If you stop a load early, it keeps the door locked for several minutes with a safety warning. This is true even if using the "extra low" heat setting, and even if the load was only running for 1 second! This feature may be useful in certain circumstances, but it definitely needs an override switch. If I'm late to somewhere and need to quickly grab something out of the load, the dryer shouldn't demand that I wait around for it! 5) The unit features several simple songs built-in, with the option of choosing one to play when a cycle has completed. It would be nice for one of these songs to just be a generic dryer sound. Or, since this is a smart appliance that can connect to your phone, maybe allow it to set one of my songs as the alarm?

I actually think this washes and dries better than having them separate! It saves me so much time and effort from having to switch from one to the other or reach all the way down to the bottom of my top loader to try to get the stuff out. I honestly dont know why more people dont use them!

Great machine! We love the fact that it efficiently washes and dries our clothes without having to move the laundry between different units. The software and operation are very intuitive, and we love the Samsung SmartThings integration. Highly recommend!

This combo does a terrific job of washing and drying. Having never used a front load system before, I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the ease of use. We also opted for the stands for additional storage below the machines. Those have been a real asset as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn’t be happier with this all-in one. It’s easy to use, super efficient, and amazingly quiet. The capacity is also great. I can wash my King size comforter and it actually gets clean and doesn’t vibrate while it’s spinning. I love all of the different settings. The steam sanitize is great for towels and I use quick wash for things that aren’t necessarily dirty, maybe just dusty or need a freshening like curtains or seasonal clothes. The only thing that I would change is the location of the dispensers. Being on the floor isn’t ideal. I guess that could easily be fixed by getting a pedestal. I also notice that once in a while items may get “trapped” inside of another item and it causes the dryer cycle to run a little longer than normal. Overall I would definitely purchase this all- in-one again. It consistently works hard to make my life easier. And who doesn’t love being able to turn a turn crime podcast while you’re folding laundry, right on the machine itself. The preloaded apps including the Spotify app makes it the coolest washer on the block. 10/ 10 would recommend!

It handles large loads with ease, cleans clothes really well, and dries them completely without having to move them to another machine. The washing and drying performance has been consistently excellent, load after load. It’s also surprisingly quiet, with very little vibration, even during the spin cycle. The AI settings make it easy to pick the right cycle, and I’ve noticed that it uses noticeably less detergent than my previous washer while still delivering outstanding cleaning results, which is a nice bonus. It has made doing laundry much more convenient, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient all-in-one washer and dryer.

I was worried about the overstuffing the machine so I changed the sizes of their laundry baskets. I have had zero issues achieving super clean clothes. The cycle times are fine, it’s so nice not having to remember to switch over laundry. The drying time is fine too, one time I had towels in with cotton shirts and the towels were still a little damp. No biggie, I pulled the shirts out and did a timed dry. My machine is the vented one, it hooked right up to my old vent and has worked perfectly.
